I would much rather have housh than Walker, if for no other reason that you are allowed to say "championship" when you aquire him seriously though TJ this year improved his speed so he is faster than 85(at least a rumor i heard from 2 different sources dont know if its true or not), i think he has a slight possibility of being a top 3 WR, and a pretty good shot at being 3-8 range. Plus without TD vulture henry for the first 8 games, and an aging Rudi, he could be money.
-
Bo scaife in PPR could be good, he will get all the dumpoff passes from a rushing QB, think vick-crumpler. Plus young and scaife played together in college, they already have good chemistry. Plus with him you could wait a couple more rounds.
-
Even if LJ doesnt get picked 3, DONT take him 4, 416 carries, 2 HoF lineman retiring in 2 years, crappy qb, etc etc. dont do it

It means it takes you 10 seconds to draft Sjax instead of 2 seconds to draft Sjax.

Jacobs, in keeper leagues RB's are usually hard to come by. Plus jacobs is a late 2nd to early 4th round draft pick in redrafts, while Boldin is 3rd to 5th. Much better value keeping jacobs.
-
Just like brandon jacobs?? You have to remember he is behind 2 guys that constantly get injured. I am not saying they will this year, you never bank on players getting injured when drafting backups. Hunt may not be the guy you want to take, but you REALLY dont want to waste a first round rookie draft pick on either beck or olsen, i am just trying to help you find someone better.
-
I would chose neither. You think hunt will be gone? at 8th in a rookie draft i expect a better pick than the 2 you mentioned. Lynch AP Russell Calvin johnson Brandon Jackson Quinn top 6 i would say that leaves Chris henry Cecil Sapp A Bradshaw Tony hunt to fall to you, i like those guys better, and hunt is going to be a goal line back this year, i would snag him first. the 2 guys ahead of sapp are both injured right now, he is another solid late first rookie pick.
-
This guy has it right! and i think kitna is going to be around 4-8 QB at the end of the year even
-
I wouldnt, you dont need a consistent rb, you are much better off with a risk/reward player like bell since you have 3 other RB's.
-
I would keep gore in a non-ppr and addai in a ppr.
-
I would take hunt, he is going to be the goal line back this year for philly(a high powered offense). Plus he has 2 injury risks above him on the depth charts.
-
Before you trade for T Jones, i just read this today So if you trade for him, make sure you have a roster spot for Leon Washington. I would try to shop around LJ though.
-
The concern with Maroney that is dropping him is he is an injury risk, along with the fact that RB's behind manning tend to do better than RB's behind Brady. In actual RB talent they may or may not be equal, but even though i think Addai is going to be great, you shouldnt give up that much to trade for him. I believe you are getting ripped off in that trade. Trading a proven fantasy WR in Walker for a a possible 1 year wonder in colston is a big risk, not to mention that you are giving up the best TE in the league.

what does Miami what do you do with....Ricky Williams

They cut him right away, he wont help the team whatsoever this year. -
Kepper Question: Need help ASAP. must decide by tues night
MTSkiBum replied to buscemifan's topic in A Little Help!
Bush. Just barely this year though, i consider MJD and bush a tie(non ppr). But for future years I consider bush to have more potential. -
This is a horrible trade for you. Bush is going to outproduce LJ by himself in a PPR league. And to downgrade your RB you would downgrade 2 WR's also?? Terrible deal.
-
I think you take Gore if he is there, but there is a good possibility that he is chosen 3, if thats the case go addai. Let LJ slide by you.
-
Ok a total points league he becomes a viable late round flyer, but I wouldnt reach to far for him, because even expecting 3-4 return TD's is a stretch for the best return guy in the league.

Offered Gates, Ronnie Brown, and Jerricho Cotchery for Dallas Clark, Torry Holt and Adrian Peterson
MTSkiBum replied to TonyBologna's topic in A Little Help!
Thats a tough call. I would call it a wash without looking at your roster. If you look at the stats in the 2nd half of last year Croctchery actually had more targets than Coles, and Coles has consisently been a PPR beast(6th most receptions in the league last year) and this year i think Croctchery has a good shot at taking over the #1 WR spot for jets. However you lose holt, a mainstay fantasy wr stud. Clark is less than worthless, i bet i can find 5 people on your WW that are going to have bigger years than he is going to have(i suggest you look around for another te if you dont make this trade). You gain Gates, a major upgrade, and the best TE in the league. This year i believe R Brown will out produce AP, so you are getting an upgrade there. But like i said i think this trade is a tie without looking at what your specific roster need is. -
Not even in that scoring system would i take hester.
-
I saw what you saw too. Its preaseason............. But Bob sanders wasnt playing, and the Colts lost their starting DT, i am not drafting benson this year.
-
I would have to go MJD, and this decision is pretty easy. I think Brett Favre has been overinflating the RB stats his carrear. If he retires i think the value of GB's RB goes down. Also GB doesnt have as proven of a defense, its tough to get 20 carries a game if you are playing from behind. Also we dont know if Brandon Jackson can even play at NFL caliber level yet. With MJD his value is a 2nd round pick right now, and next year it will only go up as Fred Taylor's workload gets reduced. The defense will be able to keep them in games in the 4th quarter, this means easier to get more carries. Plus in the future regardless of what happens at the QB position(and it is a crapshoot down there in jacksonville) we know the running game can thrive with 8 in the box. Plus we have seen MJD at the pro level, and we have know what he is capable of(even if he never puts down 16 TD's in a season we know he can rush for yardage once he starts getting enough carries).

If you had a choice, what draft position would you want?
MTSkiBum replied to b.j. booker's topic in FFToday Board
6 its the last spot i think i could safely get Bush, and while i think bush will "only" go for 600 rushing 900 receiving, i think his 90 receptions are going to be money!
