With Griese you know 100% you arent getting a pro-bowl caliber QB or even close, what you could possibly get is a decent game mananger. The thing with with Grossman is he still could turn out to be something special, he hasnt really played very many games yet in the NFL. And numerous times last year Grossman showed that he could play, it very well could be a case of young QB just struggling like most young QB's tend to do. OR it could be a case of a poor QB just having a handfull of stud games and overachieving against poor opponents, but either way you have to leave him in, because Griese isnt going to take the team anywhere but 9-7 and out in the first round of the playoffs. Note: I also think Grossman wont ammount to anything, i was just being the devil's advocate.

If you need help this year you might want to look elsewhere. Rookie WR's tend not to do well fantasy wise. Jones could step up and be a solid bye week filler if one of the guys above him goes down though. But if have to rely on either one you probably are hurting.

whats your scoring look like? and what pick are you, i bet some of those guys wont make it to you.

Whats the point in having other people draft for you? to me the draft is the most fun part of the year in FF.

My Friend Insists he made his team unbelieveable. I disagreed, he laughed

Uh what about the fact that ###### Jauron has come out numerous times and stated he is going to be in a RBBC. Plus since usually rookie running backs are bad at picking up blitzes that means A-train is going to be in on passing situations, that means he will be the one seeing the screens, hurting lynches value moreso in a PPR league than a non-ppr league, I think your homerism is blinding you here. Go caddy, they just brought in a QB that is experienced in the west coast offense, that means Caddy should see his reception total go up, and should be a much better option in a ppr league.
-
I would rather have Troy Williamson in the 16th if i am desperate trying to hit a sleeper WR............................ Take that for what its worth.
-
Start them both.
-
Curtis could have a good year in a PPR league even if he doesnt get alot of yardage, a possesion reciever in a west coast offense could have 90+ receptions.
-
I would go Manning, as tough as it is to recomend a QB over a RB as a keeper for me. The reasoning is because Gore was never a TD machine, he gets all his points through yardage.
-
I would rather have Matt Shuab. This is because i know what i am getting in McNair(a 12-18 QB). The thing with Shuab is he may be good and break out, or he may suck completely. And backup QB is a spot i always gamble on.

At #3 in PPR i would go choose between Addai or Bush. Those 80-100 receptions that Bush are going to get are going to be money, so i dont think you are crazy to consider him, however i still would have to go Addai over him. RB's playing behind peyton tend to do well in PPR leagues. I would not chose Gore. I know gore had a fair number of receptions last year, but another year for Alex smith means less check down passes, plus another year for V davis means that he is going to get a higher percentage of those fewer check down passes, plus gore is the highest injury risk of the 3. Plus over the last 5 weeks last year bush had the 4th most points in a PPR league, ahead of both addai and gore.

I would go MJD, because even though i consider them to have the same ammount of pottential this year, next year when Taylor finally is gone(i know he signed for a couple more years, but i bet he will be gone) MJD will be a stud.

I would keep Brady, and i hardly ever recomend keeping a QB over a WR(because the dropoff in points between tiers is less for QB's.) The reason i would keep brady is because you know you are getting a QB you can keep for 4-5 more years. With evans you dont know if you are getting a WR you can keep for 4-5 more years. Plus from http://www.fftoday.com/articles/thomas/07_..._valued_wrs.htm one of the FFtoday writers posted today. Lee Evans, Buffalo Average Draft Position: 4:06 The schedule sets up real nicely for Evans to do what he usually does, finish out well. However, in this case, that is not necessarily the best thing unless his owners can live with their #1 WR giving them all of his production in the last four games of the fantasy season. When I review Evans’ numbers from last season and how he got them, I see a long TD against Chicago in garbage time to avoid a shutout in a 40-7 game, a 265-yard, 2-TD game against a pathetic Texans’ pass defense and a 145-yard, 1-TD effort against a Ravens team that had little to play for in Week 17. Did Evans have a breakout year? He sure did. Now, let me present the reasons why he will not match his current draft slot… Evans will be a trendy pick based off his second-half performance from last season. But looking at the first three-quarters of the schedule this season, he will likely have to do battle against many of the league’s top corners. Among the corners he will face: Champ Bailey, Rashean Mathis, Chris McAllister, Terrence Newman, and Asante Samuel (twice) not to mention Ike Taylor and Deltha O’Neal, two players who will likely play much better than they did last season. For those of you that didn’t keep count, that is eight matchups in the first 11 games that are far from easy…in fact, that is about as tough as it gets. And while QB JP Losman seemed to improve by leaps and bounds in the second half of the season, he did not exactly face a series of great pass defenses down the stretch either. Much like Evans, Losman figures to be a great second-half player this season. But as we already know, it doesn’t do an owner much good to have great numbers from players when your fantasy team is already out of the playoff race. WRs like Hines Ward, Reggie Brown and Santana Moss are all going a full round after Evans – all receivers that have easier slates in which to do their damage.

SA probably wont be off the board, and you definently shouldnt take him, take either Addai or gore, depending on which one falls to you and let LJ slide by. I bet gore goes 3rd and he wont even be an option.
-
Titans will not be a RBBC, we just dont know who the back is yet. also minnasota said AP will be a backup, but i dont know if i believe that, but they might not be RBBC either

Interesting Keeper Dilemma--EDITED I FORGOT SOMEONE PLEASE REVIST
MTSkiBum replied to Bottles's topic in A Little Help!
I would keep Housh and LJ, as down as i am on LJ, he is great value at the #8 spot, even more so after the keepers are gone, i bet you couldnt come close to getting a back of his caliber there. Also dont fear the holdout, fear the 410 carries he had last year and the inexerienced QB he has this year, and the retirement of the 2 HoF lineman in each of the last 2 offseasons. -
I would try and get parker and A Johnson, because that would give you 3 good backs, and i guarentee you wont be keeping SA next year, this is his last productive year in the league(if he even produces this year) A johnson is a gamble though.

I figure i am somewhere in the 750-1000 range. I read about an 30 minutes to an hour of football a day at work, and another 45 min to an hour at home, during the offseason. During regular season and preseason you can triple those numbers easily for me. Although alot of those hours arent real research and is just me surfing FF forums. How many do you guys put in?
-
I would not trade Deuce or Jjones for Djax no matter how bad your WR's are, you can get a much better value than that.

Just drew the #1 in the all important 1st draft for a new dynasty league
MTSkiBum replied to cavern's topic in FFToday Board
I would take Sjax over LT #1 in a dynasty league, LT has hit the 381 F/carry mark twice in his carrear now, he is approaching the big three o, and Sjax has only hit the 381 f/carry mark once, and he is 25(? without going and looking up his age). Also I did a dynasty draft earlier this year and Turner went in the 5th round, and not to the LT owner either. If you take LT their is a distinct possibility you wont be able to get his handcuff unless you reach for him(which would weaken your team), plus I think LT will be the #1 back this year, but it wont be a record setting year, the gap between him and #2 will be lessened(Sjax is no lock to be #2 though). -
I have reached for him in the couple redrafts I have done, in rounds 8-12 depending on how each individule draft worked out. I figure he has more upside than anyone else i could grab there, and i figure i am going to drop about 20% of the people I draft around those spots anyways, so its not really a big risk. How many other rb's that were drafted in the first round last year can you get that late. There is a pretty good shot Jordan doesnt ammount to anything this year. But his upside is definantly visible from what he did playing for the raiders in 05.

Most the people that post "rate my team" probably dont alot of research in, in the offseason.
-
I voted "Rate my team" I really tried to make an effort in the little help bored the last month, but 3/4 of the posts want me to rate their team. Why do they try to validate their team in preseason by polling a bunch of strangers on a forum???

Maybe it was motivational coach speak? Or maybe Brown really has been underperforming and Chatman really is pushing him?
