Dead Pool Update - Robert Redford - A Dead at 89
wiffleball replied to MikeMatt's topic in The Geek Club
A movie that didn't get much hype was "Spy Games". Really cool movie. Brad Pitt was in it, but Redford owned it. Highly recommended. -

Simple Italian dish as snack for kids. Cooked pasta, butter, powdered sugar. At first, I thought "gross". But most kids like noods & butter. And we used to eat white bread with butter and regular sugar. It's a fast, tasty snack. Anybody try this? Heard of it?

The Posse Comitatus Act is a federal law that restricts the use of the U.S. Army and Air Force from acting as law enforcement or to execute the law, unless expressly authorized by Congress or the Constitution. Originally passed in 1878, it has been expanded to include the Navy, Marine Corps, and Space Force, though it does not apply to the National Guard when it's operating under state control. The act, however, contains many exceptions and loopholes, such as for counter-drug operations or emergencies involving weapons of mass destruction, and its application is often a subject of debate, especially in situations involving immigration enforcement.

Man, this is such BS overreach. Wonder how many good doggos died unnecessarily. --------- As of 1 February 2024, it is illegal to own an XL Bully unless the dog is exempted. The deadline for exempting XL Bullies has now passed. We understand how upsetting this is for owners. The law also means that it is illegal for animal charities to rehome an XL Bully. https://www.rspca.org.uk › bsl › xlb... American

Is anyone up to speed why some people think contrails are some kind of black helicopter, deep state, moon landing shenanigans. I wonder if they think their tea kettle is 'in' on the conspiracy?

Rescues less and less likely. There's one minor child on the vessel and four adults. At what point, if ever, do you consider offing yourself to even marginally increase the odds for the minor child?

As A Adult Man, Did You Ever Carry A Umbrella And Use It ?
wiffleball replied to BeenHereBefore's topic in The Geek Club
Thankfully, my trusty bumble shoot has spared me the ignominy of using an Umbrella. -
You no, I've been listening to a little bit of mike pence lately. And I've been thinking about it. Between trump, biden, Harris, pence? I think Pence is the best choice. Closest thing to it at least, compared to all the other clowns. Also, based on his comments about January 6th, I think he do bring a degree of healing over the s*** show that's been the last six or seven years. Not flashy. God, we've had enuf of that. Yeah, why not? Plus, it would piss off Trump something fierce whilst clearing the Biden circus.
