Gaffigan was on a roll awhile ago. Dude had a TV show, serious drama acting parts, world tour, corporate gigs that landed him as one of the top comedy earners on Erf. Now, just. - don't. And seriously, banish the Hot Pockets voice. Note: He was the keynote at the Catholic Dinner held every election recently. Not funny. -

I remember working at a high dollar organic grocery store. There was this fit, great looking, well dressed, big jewelry.couple. Really quite nice. They would pull up for check out with at least 2 carts. She had a little over 800 in food stamps every time. They weren't buying oatmeal ; Steak, lobster, you name it. -
Didn't like 'em when they first came out. But I've undergone a change of heart.

Trump's team is reportedly interested in banning junk food purchases for 41 million SNAP users
wiffleball replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
At the nascent stages of Covid, an erstwhile young congressman suggested effectively eliminating gas station sweets in exchange for making hot "to go" food from restaurants covered by EBT. Remember when all the restaurants were suffering due to covid lockdowns? This Would have added a huge spark without having to authorize any new funding. And; better quality foods for families. Made way too much sense. Can't have that. -

I remember when Jeb! Had to be educated on this too. But he didn't actually fire them - and then lose them. Expect more of this nonsense to manifest _________________ Around 300 staff members at the NNSA were told on Thursday that they were being fired as part of ongoing plans to reduce federal spending. These layoffs were part of broader reductions at the Department of Energy, but officials allegedly did not seem to realize that this agency oversees the U.S. stockpile of nuclear weapons. NNSA officials are now scrambling to inform some of those workers that their terminations have been rescinded, but are struggling to find their personal contact details, according to NBC News. In an email sent to employees at NNSA, the department said they "do not have a good way" to get in touch with those whose roles had been terminated and are asking for help in locating them.

BHB: KOP? Man, the mall was our jam back in the day. Great memories. Scraped off every last trace of mine years ago. -
The way to go these days. Cheaper than chains & convenience stores. Bigger too. Ditto on seasoning.
