Seems like the "smart" fridges were all the rage years back. But I sure don't hear/see much anymore. The idea of a family appt calendar, dynamic shopping lists, and all kinds of other features seemed cool, but hasn't really taken over the market. Thoughts?

...At least, to Rats. If you hold down a rat and force feed him 10lbs of dye every day, apparently the rat will likely eventually die. So here we've got NYC waging a kill em all approach to Rats while other bureaucrats are turning the American food scene upside down to save the critters. I'm thinking there's some options here.
