  1. Well, if you see him, you damn sure make sure he reads that last line of mine.
  2. Is NOBODY reading that last line I wrote??
  3. While I think socially and politically thing have improved for AA's in general, I think the AA community itself has started to bifurcate a bit. For example, at the same time in history that Black homeownership and political & corporate participation has soared, at no time in history have more Blacks been imprisoned. I actually think there's been a heck of a lot of backsliding on the part of many AA's. While I'm sure the Rev Wright's of the world will attribute that to the evil whitey, regardless, those crimes were commited by Black men/women. And, the people most derisive of the so-called Ngers? Successful black men and women. Evil Whitey has nothing to do with the ridiculous amount of irresponsible fathers and single mothers in the Black society. You can't blame the justice system, you can't blame poverty (see: Travis Henry, entire NBA), there's no WHITEY you can blame for that. That's simply cultural. And, unfortunately, kids who grow up without a father figure are far more likely to grow up in poverty, far more likely to pursue drugs and far more likely to re-create the cycle of irresponsibility. And even the most blatant Black apologist has yet to find a way to blame whitey for that. America's made its changes socially, politically and economically. Now it's time for someone in the AA community to rise up as a leader who will not tell Blacks that they will have forever an excuse in life, but rather a responsibility. And for those that have done so, their message so far has fallen upon deaf ears.

Obama tells a fan to get lost

Actually, my first impression when I saw this yesterday was again what disorganzed rookie mess BO's campaign is. First rule of crowd control is never let your principal have to be the bad guy. You HIRE guys for that. Situation should never even have developed much less gotten this far.

Obama tells a fan to get lost

I watched the tape yesterday. Dude was wearing ME out. I'm surprised BO didn't God Damn him.

Is Obama proud to be an american ?

And how many of them have written not one, but TWO books giving the hate speaking loon Rev Wright a literary blow-job?

    I'm done

That crap drives me nuts. I swear it was a married guy who came up with the whole "can't win for losing" quote. Look at weddings. Invariably: 1) She biitches at you for not being involved enough. 2) You get involved and do shiit. 3) She gets mad that she has to sign off on everything "why do I have to make all the decisions?" 4) You make decison 5) She gets pissed off and takes everything back from you. - Sound familiar to every guy in the room?? No wonder the Chinese drown them at birth.

    I'm done

But the reason her married her was because she was 40 lbs lighter and she put out. Now neither is the case.
  10. Look how divided we are about George Bush. People damn near get into fist-fights between those that have a brain and those that love the guy. We've haven't been more divided as a country since at least the 70's - and this may be even worse. Look at Kwame Kirkpatric or Marion Barry or OJ - How even when they were caught red-handed, blacks STILL vehemently supported them and called everyone who criticized them "racists". What's gonna happen when BO really focks something up? I mean, every President does. The Press is already afraid to touch the guy for their guilty white liberal fear of being called - gasp - a racist. Can you imagine how things are going be when BO focks something up and REGARDLESS, the Blacks will mindlessly at any criticism even worse than the half-wits who still support Bush do?? - Make apologies for him, rally like they did against Imus when any white commentator criticizes him? I think, if you put any thought into it, the idea that BO will unite America and cure our racial scars is pretty much the exact opposite of what is more likely to occur.

Well yeah, but the test marketing for THE HELIOCOBACTER PYLORI Were horrible. That's why they went with "The Fly".

    Bengals Release Chris Henry

A select few. This needs to be remembered. For every one gold-toofed jackass who does something stupid, there are dozens if not hundreds of acts of quiet good perpetrated by NFL players, coaches, cheerleaders, personnel, officals and owners. If you watch ESPN, you'd swear the entire NFL is comprised of wife beating, drug using, illigitimate baby making, gun-toting in a strip club idiots. The truth is, in the cities in which they work and live throughout this country, the men and women of the NFL do countless acts of quiet good. Not for the PR, but simply to fill a need. Whether it's keeping the music program alive at their daughter's school, rebuilding their son's little league fields, rebuilding their church, or the playground they grew up on - or any one of thousands of acts of quiet, anonymous good, most of the men & women of the NFL - especially the players - simply do good for the sake of doing good. You don't hear those stories as much. Maybe if you're lucky, a 3 minute puff piece during the slow week before the SuperBowl. First, because they don't advertise their good, they just do it. The reward is the act itself. and Second: Because ESPN has apparently made the decision to go the route of TMZ and the National Enquirer. The pain of a couple's divorce has nothing to do with sport. Neither do the foibles of a coaches son. Neither is whom a player dates a legitimate sports story. They'd rather spread the salacious than the uplifting. The dirty rather than the good. And we eat it up ravenously. In a world where if "it's not on the internet or on TV, it didn't happen", remember that is just not true. Acts of quiet good occur every day from the men and women of the NFL. Just because we only hear the bad, doesn't make their good any less true, any less noble, any less admirable.

Yeah, I read the article. What a crock. Pays to have good lawyers and an owner with friends in high places.

    Bengals Release Chris Henry

Exactly what I was thinking. Short of a suspension, this guy will get another gig elsewhere, possibly on a better team. For that reason alone, I hope Goodell drops the hammer.

Time Travel and Teleportation Possible Someday

I think if Jeff Goldblum has taught us anything, it is that the human body is so complex - billions upon billions of individual cells - that it would be theoretically possible, but practically impossible to transport and re-assemble anything so complex as the human body. On a more pragmatic level: I can't believe our planes are as slow as they are. The sonic boom problem is do-able - just don't engage until you're over water, desert, farm land - whatever. But if you think about it, our passenger planes aren't much faster than they were in the 60's. To me, that's ridiculous. That, and the fact that we still rely so heavily upon the combustion engine. Focking 200 year old technology.

    Really tragic story

Should have expected an ignorant statement like this from you. One, I don't think anybody (other than GFIAFP maybe) has said a 14 y.o. is a "hottie". Maybe 16-18, but not that. 2nd, just because you say someone is attractive doesn't mean you're going to fock them. Third, short of rape, dontcha think maybe this 14 y.o. murdering nit-wit had a LITTLE something to do with this?? Geebus. Focking Stupid. She's a whoare who killed her own baby so as not to get in trouble. - Without a man in sight. But yeah, somehow, it's the fault of middle aged men on a chat bored 2000 miles away. Brilliant.

    Ayman al-Zawahiri on Iraq

You know, I watched the entire press conference and not ONCE did he say "God Damn America!!" - You'd think he'd BE an Obama supporter. And, his Q&A session was far less embarassing than any that George Bush has attempted.
