Iosivas about to make himself a favorite Burrow target today.... -
There are no "gimmes" in the National Football League....
-
33% target share for Rashee Mahomes average 10+ yards per attempt, up from career low 7 last season. aDOT was basically the same which tells you this group is some YAC monsters....wait till Hollywood gets added next week. Mandrews face is on the side of a milk carton this morning. Henry. meh. Kelce's stash looked good.

Nice roster..... so who did you draft ??

Dallas police searching for Rashee Rice in connection to accident
kcBlitzkrieg replied to cmh6476's topic in FFToday Board
No, sorry, you are not..... I''ve exhausted my attention span for having to explain the American legal system on a fantasy football bored. The District Attorney is the one who will decide if and what the final charges will be in Rice's case. NOT the grand jury, that was a DIFFERENT legal matter, I.E. sexual assault where there is no video / evidence of the alleged crime vs. Rice's wreckless driving / leaving scene / etc. of which there IS evidence. Let me help you this one last time then I'm done.... "Due Process" is covered and protected under the 14th Amendment of the US Constitution. You, me, Rashee and every other American is afforded this right. What you are calling for is SUSPENSION of due process, which is a violation of his rights as an American. Sorry, wrong Country bud. -

OK I hear you TB..... the Watson thing is just ridiculous to use as a bench mark of comparison for this case. I see you are not doing that. Yes, Watson could technically still be disciplined further, including from the criminal justice system. There are obviously some people in here that were banking on Rice getting suspended. Nobody complaining about Jordan Addison's DUI and saying he should be suspended.....wonder why that is..... -

I only care because I keep seeing the wrong repeated over and over again. You guys are not getting it. Legal process = "due process" Watson had a Texas Grand jury (this is the criminal legal process) decide NOT to INDICT him (which means NO CRIMINAL charges). You see here this is what you are missing right? The NFL ALLOWED DUE PROCESS TO PLAY OUT (process played out by way of Grand Jury). THE NFL IS ALLOWING DUE PROCESS TO PLAY OUT with Rice (has not yet happened). -

CRIMINAL and CIVIL courts are TWO completely different things. Come on now.... We have already established the CRIMINAL GRAND JURY declined to INDICT WATSON. He had 25 sexual assault CIVIL charges against him. Rice has EXACTLY ZERO CRIMINAL charges assigned by the District Attorney. Rice does have CIVIL charges and has a DECEMBER court date. -

I'm not sure what you guys are arguing but comparing the Watson case to the Rice case and saying he should have been suspended for his actions because Watson was makes you just look plain ignorant. First you say they "didn't allow the legal process to play out". Next sentence you tell us the two grand juries declined to indict him on criminal charges. There were already plenty of civil suits for sexual assault. The NFL ruled his suspension due to the personal conduct policy regarding sexual assault. This was after the grand jury, the civil suits already existed. Tell me again how the NFL suspended Watson BEFORE any criminal due process was allowed to play out ??? Your personal opinion on what the State of Texas did matters nothing in this discussion. It is about the NFL and precedent. Comparing Watson situation to Rashee and saying Rice should be suspended / put on the Commissioners Exempt list is fooking dumb and makes for an easily debunked ignorant argument. I know you guys aren't legal experts but come on. Look at the Kamara situation. That is your apt comparison. As I previously said, and what GOODELL TOLD YOU back in April after the draft, they are going to let "due process" take its course. That is what is happening. You guys don't like it, fine, that is your right and you can complain about it all you want. It's not changing anything. -
Warmed up on the rookie since July.... he will have a better rookie season than Mecole's best NFL season (not saying much). Gonna run him the the early career Desean Jackson role in Big Red's offense. He is better route runner than previously advertised, they will be scheming him to get clean releases off the line. Mahomes gonna be dropping Bombs to him and Hollywood while Kelce and Rice eat up the intermediate / short stuff. So 60/800/6 type of year.

Did the NFL let the legal process play out for Mr. Watson before he was suspended ??? Why yes, yes they did. Strange concept huh. A grand jury found he was not to be charged with criminal charges. The NFL thought he violated the personal conduct policy and suspended him but they allowed the "legal process" to play out, which is what they do. It took Kamara almost 18 months before any judgement was passed for his assault charge. Plenty more examples.....this isn't Goodell from the Ray Rice days. Two completely different situations. -

Why is "the only thing the NFL is doing wrong is allowing him to play" ?? You mean, the NFL should suspend him before any legal action is taken by the courts ??? aka "guilty before proven innocent" ??? Sorry to break it to you but that is not how the legal system works, it is "innocent until proven guilty". Unless you are a communist that is how it works. What do you mean, "after this" ?? There is already a CIVIL suit with a trial date for December. NOT a trial date for the criminal courts. We already covered this in the following thread so not sure why the misinformation is still going around..... perhaps some of you are butt hurt for not grabbing yourselves a low end WR1 / high end WR2 in the the 6th/7th round and now have to pay a 4th or 5th. -

Chad Johnson aka Ochocinco is on record saying Chase is holding out for games. Iosivas is basically a free pick for those drafting this weekend. -
because he is a guy who lines up in the backfield and not as a TE 95% of the time..... a more accurate position grouping would be RB as he is basically a Wildcat QB.

They cut the rugby dude by the way....

Pokes don't have to pay Dak. His cap number this year is $55mm so yeah it would be in their best interests financially for THIS YEAR to resign him to a longer deal and reduce that cap hit. Long term though they should look to explore trading him and if not, possibly just let him walk in FA next year. I can guarantee you this is what Dak wants...the open market in '25. The Cedee number won't be nearly significant if they dump Dak after this year as the replacement QB is going to be on a rookie deal.

stop it. not funny.
-
Ummmm...... I was "seriously" agreeing with you, hence I quoted your statement and then expounded on it as being a non-factor. Volatile times around here, emotions run high so close to week 1.... peace all.
-
Gotcha....for sure see that as a plausible scenario....wasn't sure if it was something other than a football related reason.....thanks
-
Seriously. Who the hell cares about a washed up low aDOT target with no RAC ability. A harsh assessment perhaps but sometimes the truth hurts. Dude just got cut from the team with the worst receiver corp in the league. Hate to say it and I hope I am off base here BUT, the ONLY reason this is even news is it perhaps foreshadows some future news on Rashee's availability. As a Chiefs fan, this is not "good" news to be celebrated on any level.
