KWIII was my top RB target after starting out with 3 WR....got him at 4.5 in .5 ppr. He is a RB1 for me while those other names are not. Najee would be on my list, not high on the volume RBs on shitty offenses (Zamir & Rhamondre)....would have Connor in there as option in that range, Robinson not bad either rd 8 or so. Walker very strong anchor as zero RB. Early to mid 4th you should be OK but never know....GL.

lost a bit for sure, we've seen that coming last couple years but Mahomes still loves him and Kelce/Rashee are targets 1A / 1B. PPR I'd put him above LaPorta. Who is your #1 ??
-
I don't disagree with whoever emerges as WR1 could get you 1K....at this point though I would rather have Palmer for much cheaper.... 9/10 round pick for Ladd is not "pennies". Odunze/Watson/JSN all right in that same wheelhouse and higher upside.
-
3 weeks later...... I passed on Ladd as WR4/WR5 in all drafts. No time with Herbert, Greg Roman offense, think it takes a while to get him going and at the end of the day I have no clue who the WR to own is here and want no part of it....

Warmed up a bit on Kelce.... no issue with anyone taking him as #1 TE. He was not healthy to start the season last year and yes, looked beat up and "lost a step". He has not looked that way in camp and offensively, everything I said above would lead to a line resembling 135 targets / 100+ catches / double digit TDs. Overall TE1. Mahomes is going for 5k and 40 this year, Rashee and Kelce are gonna eat. Hell even Worthy, dude is much better route runner than Mecole, MVS or any other deep threat in KC since Tyreek. Andy playing with him like Desean junior....gonna be a fun season to watch this Chiefs offense again.
-
You might as well just say Mahomes misses half the season, that is only correlation to cause KC to miss playoffs.

How do you rate these three wide receivers Garrett Wilson? St. Brown and Justin Jefferson.
kcBlitzkrieg replied to Baker Boy's topic in FFToday Board
Tough, I'd put them all 3 in the same tier. ASB's last season is essentially his ceiling but his floor is also higher than the other two. Wilson has highest upside, especially in the TD department. All ties to ARods health. You think Rodgers plays 15-17 games and Wilson is your #1. JJ will have 100+ catches, 1500 yards, 6-8 TDs regardless of if its Darnold or Mullens. I was ready to take Wilson over ASB and JJ the other night in a .5 ppr but then Ceedee fell....otherwise I would've gone Wilson. -
Drafted Kupp early 3rd and followed up with Rashee late in the 6th this past Sunday night.... 12 teamer, start 3 WR.
-
This is the way....nicely done.
-
Draft him in the 6th round (5th if you are in a KC homer league) and be happy knowing you have a WR1 in your WR2/3 or Flx spot.
-
What rounds are Harrison and Kupp going in your draft?

Yessir -
Jefferson went 1.11 in my draft tonight.

Kupp 3.4 in my 12t / 3WR start draft tonight. MHJ 2.6 -
What say you---Breece Hall as a top 3 pick this year in a ppr league???
kcBlitzkrieg replied to jtztdm's topic in FFToday Board
I'd take Breece #1 overall IF he could replicate his receiving totals. 76 catches on 95 touches gonna happen again?? Go look at his game by game totals.....some huge numbers / outliers in the last few games of season. We know the offense was trash and had no QB so he was getting a ton of check downs. If ARod stays healthy I see his rushing numbers, TDs specifically increasing in numbers and efficiency. This could balance out the reduction in the passing game usage. Still have no issue with him at #3 overall. I like a lot of the WRs though in the 3-6 rounds so I'd have no issue going Breece/Bijan #3 then filling my 3WR slots with 4-5 guys following. Only start 2 WR ?? OK cool, load me up with Breece or Bijan even more. -
I'll say no more....
-
Strange, this was included in your breakdown above: If Jefferson gets 36% (which is 2% better than 2022), of the points that Darnold generates, that's 15.84 fantasy points per game... 13 WR's did better than that last year (12 if you don't count Mike Williams who only played 3 games). All that to show, Darnold isn't good enough to make Jefferson a fantasy WR1. You literally say "Darnold isn't good enough to make Jefferson a fantasy WR1." WR1 = Top 12 WR scoring in everyone's average 12 teamer. Peace.

Per "draft capital".... JJ as #5 overall is overvalued. I'm taking Bijan and Breece over him in the 3-6th draft slot.... later/equal than that I'm taking Jamar, ASB and possible Garrett Wilson over JJ. So basically Jefferson would need to fall to me in the 11/12th spot to be on one of my redraft teams. In my dynasty squad I'd be happy to see him finish the season anywhere in the top 15. Anything past that will be a disappointment on some level.
-
No issue here.... "draft capital" as in taking him with a top 5 pick is NOT what I am advocating. My issue is the method of evaluation some here are using to say the guy "won't finish top 12 in WR scoring".
-
OK.... you must have KOC on speed dial then..... how do you "know" what their inclination is ?? Seriously, where did you get this information ?? I'm not looking over anything coming out of Vikings camp, only questioning how YOU "know" what their inclination is.... OR are you basing this off YOUR evaluation of Sam Darnold's history in the league ? Where is your evaluation of Darnold within a McVay / KOC style offense ? You literally are using statistical analysis of a moot QB situation to project future outcomes. Lots can happen in an NFL season, too many variables to hang one (Darnold) on the outcome of a player (Jefferson). Baring injury, I would be STUNNED if he doesn't finish as a Top 12 WR. Personally, I would be more worried about his hammy this season as the main reason he doesn't make a WR1 finish than ANY other variable.
-
I too said this in another thread.... JJ got at least 10 targets per game with Nick Mullens at QB... "10, 10, 10, 14. Jefferson's targets post injury comeback with Nick Mullens as QB. KOC is still the head coach. This is still the Cooper Kupp X role in a Shannahan / McVay offense. They move him all over the field. They just paid him over $100 mill guaranteed. Why would "their inclination" be "not to throw him the ball 10 plus times a game" ?? Sammy boy will be directed by KOC to feed him the rock.... the offense funnels through Jefferson. Completely fine having JJ as my WR1 and pairing him with a Deebo or DK in rd 3. Definitely not ahead of Cedee / Tyreek though. Overall WR5/6 is realistic expectation.

Something holding up this deal now ?? "expected to be done by end of week".... fascinating case study on negotiations we have here going on.... Aiyuk and Pickens are not the "same" player by any means. Aiyuk is a superior route runner and one of the highest efficiency per target guys in the NFL. Is this more of a function of his X role in the Shanny offense than his talent ?? I'd say equally beneficial relationship between Aiyuk the player and the system he plays in. I'd venture to guess it is highly unlikely the Steelers trade Pickens in this deal. If that were to happen, two things I'd be confident in moving forward would be 1) Pickens value absolutely increases playing the X role in Shanny's offense. 2) Aiyuks value stays the same as #1 target in a worse off offense. As a Pickens dynasty owner, I'd rather see Pickens alone in the offense than with Aiyuk (for this season at least per the QB options). If Pickens goes to Niners then that would be just as good imho.
-
On a related note.... what does this do to Pickens value ??
-
To your theory.... you should be removing Tyreek Hill from your draft bored this year..... Should have removed Kamara last year..... Cross off Jordan Addison' s name this year.... bump down Zay Jones and Chris Olave as well for their offseason digressions.... "case in point" = lol @ Deshawn Watson being your comparison. Watson was out of football for 700 days. He was accused of sexual assault by over 20 women. He settled civil cases with the majority of them. He was traded to a new team half way through the ordeal. Not a great "case in point" for Rashee comparison.

JFC go read the thread, NO WHERE did I say he won't "ever" be suspended. "It's coming" yes, already said.... but highly likely it is Next season. If there was a betting line in Vegas on his odds of being suspended THIS season I would be max wagering the NO. If he is suspended this season for any amount of time RELATED to this current alleged offense, then I have no problem eating crow. I'll also have no problem having Rice on my team for 13-14 games putting up high end WR2 numbers. Peace.
