you can argue this round and round....it is a personal preference, one that I see more valuable to have a generational talent like Tyreek to balance out a lesser top to bottom receiving corp. It is my preference to have what I consider the better squad with Tyreek vs. the deeper squad with NO Tyreek but a collection of more talented guys in the 3/4/5 spots. Are the Chiefs deeper at wide receiver this year than in past years with Tyreek?? I haven't seen an argument to suggest otherwise. Are the Chiefs better at wide receiver this year without Tyreek? That remains to be seen but my personal opinion is, no, they are not "better". They are different though, and different doesn't automatically = worse.

A deeper receiving corp isn't necessarily a better one.... The offense is different, looks different, attacks different, smells different, etc, as several of us were pointing out in the offseason.... Hill is one of the handful of WRs in this league that defenses game planned around. KC no longer has this and it is going to take a few weeks for defenses to adjust to what they are doing differently. As a KC fan this would be what I would worry about most...what happens then?

I like Goff but out of these I'd throw Flacco in for the simple fact that he is going up against the Bengals and should continue to have the volume he has shown through the first two weeks.

I'm a KC fan.... for the level of hype he's gotten since training camp began, he's average at best. Running Mecole on jetsweep end arounds on 3 and 1 sucks too....especially after Clyde was breaking off 6-7 yard chunks. Mecole is soft and is a track star, not a star wideout. where the hell was Juju last night?? plenty of critical commentary, I could keep going... no sign of Jackson Mahomes so far this year....that is excellent news and probably why Patrick is the #1 QB in ff right now

I agree, I worded my previous sentence incorrectly.... every year is different, if there was a year to reach and take a QB who you believe will have that superman 30ppg+ year, then round 4 would be my earliest. I generally will take my QB anywhere rounds 7-10, depending on my target that year. One league this year it was round 12.

I said the same thing, top 5-6....we are all full of when you look at those splits above and think one of us is winning this "discussion" The main takeaway from anyone in this discussion should be "don't draft a QB before round 3 unless you think he is going to have The Superman #1 overall season.....thanks weeman

It’s the “he’s not an elite QB without Tyreek and will finish outside the top 8” crowd I’m talking about… if you have 3-5 QBs all within a point or 2 at the top then what is “elite”. Just Josh Allen last year elite? I wouldn’t have expected this thread to come up after 2 games into the season…still some time left.

all of this. better than Darwin but that's not saying much. He doesn't break tackles or force missed tackles anything above average. If Clyde gets injured best case Pacheco can hope for is that D. Williams time share role from last year.

You are trying to call me out for hypothetically passing on Najee once I learned of his camp foot injury. How exactly was I duped??? Did you see anywhere on this bored me stating I passed on Najee due to the news of his injured foot between the days preceding the 3rd preseason game and the start of the season??? I was very high on Najee, had him #2 RB behind Taylor and #3 overall behind Taylor and Jefferson. I had only had one redraft before the foot news and 1 draft after foot news....I had picks 8 and 6 and took Jefferson both times over Najee. Would I have picked Najee at 8 if JJ was gone?? Maybe but it is moot. My entire point about Najee was that the team and supposed "local beat writers" made no mention of it and it was the PLAYER that slipped in the news days before the season began.
