Oil & gas were at record levels under Biden. Also we were the world’s biggest exporter under Biden. Oil prices declined now because orders are down because global market buyers project a downturn in economic activity. The one funny thing is the declining oil price really hurts Putin & Russia. Law of unintended consequence.

IIRC "QATAR" is splattered in big capital letters right across the body. Can't really buy the kind of endorsement power that comes with an American President waddling into your plane with your government's name emblazoned right above him. That's the sort of image that lasts forever.

This whole discussion went on during Obamacare / ACA and even before. IMO legislation is needed, in which case it's legal. Which really many a progressive and even socialist (say a Sanders) would have loved back in the day but any attempt by Obama or Clinton or Biden would be met with howls (and IIRCC they tried for legislation at least once if not more). Otherwise what Trump described is straight out price controls issued by central planning.
