The specific group highlighted by CNN in that 2017 report were anarchists. Anarchists oppose authoritarianism. Hard core socialists & communists seek greater authority for social ends. Two totally different things.

Well then Anarchists are in the upper corner of that anti-authoritarian quadrant. However Libertarians are in that same quadrant.

This is from 2017 & describes anarchists organizing to get in street fights with actual Nazis, who as you know are also right wing.
