Something crazy about this - if you took the absolute worst thing said about Joe Biden - the infamous '10% for the big guy' claim - which was after Biden left office, and which Bobulinski himself said never came to fruition anyway - even if you believe that happened it was 10% of 5 million, or $500,000. Like that was the maga fever dream of the absolute height of corruption. They thought that was a lot of money.

As US Attorney. My point is that Holder prosecuted officials from his own party. He was a trial attorney for the DOJ Public Integrity Division as well. I don't underrate Pirros' trial experience, I wouldn't be surprised if she tried a hundred cases as an ADA, but she has no federal experience and no corruption prosecutions. What's more, her husband, who coincidentally represented Trump, was into some seriously crooked stuff while they were married.

I am all ears when it comes to corruption. I say call the DA, the US Attorney, the IG, the special prosecutor, investigate away when it comes to public officials. Weiss and Comer dug into every square inch and byte of Hunter Biden's finances, they even had hacked data dating back to 2009 to comb through. They found zip, zilch, nix, nada.

Which is why I'm sure the Republicans issued a letter calling for it. Why Ukrainians protested for it and why the Rada demanded it. Why the IMF wanted it and EU foreign ministers. It was why Shokin himself resigned. You see, everyone wanted to line Hunter Biden's pockets, so he would give money to Joe Biden in completely invisible ways.

Yet the perfectly lucid and bronzed current president sees fit to continue the same funding.

Ok, on the first one - Trump did essentially that by demanding that Ukraine provide dirt on his opponent, where all this started. And he was impeached for that and was only saved from conviction by Mitch McConnell. Secondly, Comer investigated away, endlessly for four years on that. And it's pretty fair to say that if he had found evidence of Biden receiving so much as a dime he would have impeached Biden too - but he never did because he never could. Not only that but a prosecutor nominated by Trump, a Republican, prosecuted Hunter Biden and if he had found a scintilla of evidence of any of the corruption claims he would have sought indictment and impeachment too, and he obviously did not. Third, it's barred by the Constitution. This isn't even a "corruption" issue even if it's whataboutted to death.
