This is easy to answer and it’s not a question of being liberal or conservative, it’s a fact of economics. Bezos doesn’t pay the tax, he passes it on to the consumer. The Amazon buyer pays the tax, not Bezos.

I’m all ears. He said trade with Canada is Insignificant, that doesn’t sound like someone who knows they’re our biggest trading partner.

I can’t speak for liberals but my guess is they’d say he owns too many corporations. And I agree the WaPo should not be influenced by what Amazon needs. But as for Amazon, I’m not a customer but a good chunk of maga is. I don’t get why adding taxes on them is good for them, other consumers, Amazon, retail or anyone.

Let’s say this is true that liberals are for this - I’m not agreeing but FTSOA - what’s wrong with this? It’s capitalism. Companies profit & hire more people, consumers get cheap goods & save more for the family or the future. More trade happens, more people get hired, revenues increase, stocks increase, the government makes more from taxes, people get stuff. I just see wins here.

I know I'm missing something, these are the orders I'm familiar with: Bond hearing 2019 - ordered held. Hearing on asylum and removal - request for removal denied, Trump DHS released him. USSC and prior district and appeals courts, ordered feds return him. Judge Xini, enforcing the USSC order, strictly ordered him returned.
