Trucking is down though, a lot. You're saying truckers will be fine. It doesn't look like it. -
Dem immigration talking points fizzle as dark picture of Abrego Garcia emerges
SaintsInDome2006 replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
No. Actually no one argues that. People who wish to reframe the argument wish to pretend that the 1969 INA doesn't exist. These are proceedings which were created under the authority of Congress. Though since you raise Marx, it's marxist to argue that some people aren't entitled to due process right? I think the principle - under marxism - is that the needs of the people and the state predominate over the needs of the individual. You'd agree with that, yes? -

I realize, you raised trucking, volume is down considerably from this time last year. -

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but this is the whole basis for the allegation that Garcia is MS13. There's a specific section for scars, marks & tattoos - there is nothing there. Tattoos had nothing to do with identifying Garcia as MS13. -

The government did participate. And they had the right to appeal but did not. -

I like that he loves his dogs. I’ve been to a couple pizza places he raved about in NO, I’m not sure why he’s so followed for that. -

That’s from the court’s opinion. It’s the judge’s findings based on all evidence. -

According to the facts of the case Barrio 18 first tried to "recruit" Gacia when he was 12. He resisted and his family moved twice to help him (and themselves) avoid the pressure. -
Arguably the US government cannot go in and remove someone from a foreign jail, which I cam sure was the DOJ's argument. But even in the strictest sense of the word the US has done nothing - as in not one thing - to facilitate return either. Things that might be facilitating return: a letter from the US State Department, a call or written request from the president or the Sec. of DHS, sending a US diplomatic plane to have a meeting with the head of the prison or foreign ministry. Nothing of the sort has happened.

Pam Bondi says Epstein files to be released today with flight logs and names

He's definitely not with PV anymore, in fact they're suing each other. I was asking because the video posted refers to Project Veritas as "James O’Keefe coming in hot." -

At least Constantinople was in Turkey (I suspect they did it because the Turks were ethnically cleansing Greeks from the nation in the 1920s but anyway...), and those examples yeah were cities or places within nations so it was always their "business." You're right going around renaming international bodies of water with centuries old names is like walking around telling people you shall henceforth call chestnuts "Trumpnuts" or mockingbirds "Melaniabeaks". -

Tellyawhat, I'm fine with this, the source. Comer, Luna, all of it, every word. Fine, so all we need is for Patel, Bongino and Bondi to testify when the data was received and what happened to it and when. Easy. Because - and here's the fun part - Epstein was arrested by US Attorney Alex Acosta, whom Trump appointed to his cabinet. And Epstein was defended by Trump's own criminal attorney, Allen Dershowitz. - Hey Comer should have Acosta testify what happened when Acosta's people seized Epstein's data and Dershowitz can turn over his files. Yes by all means Rep. Comer should proceed. -

I'm personally not in favor of the monuments/streets/bases renaming thing but I can at least see why liberals and non-liberals alike want it. I have no objection to "Persian Gulf", it must be several millennia old. But I'll tell you who does object: the mullahs of Iran who changed their country's name from Persia to Iran. "Persia" is the name preferred by Iranians who oppose the regime. -
The Pentagon hasn’t had a single briefing all year. This is no exception.

Hegseth was responsible for canceling Ukrainian aid, without being instructed to by Trump. -

I suspect this starts when Trump doesn’t know or can’t remember the names or locations of places on maps. It’s possible his staff does this for him then they have to get it on maps, etc. -

Why do you think he lied? This is like a bar argument over the greatest QB of all time & someone pipes in about the great Steelers QB Roger Staubach. -

I’m trying to agree with you, you have a point he’s a profligate, constant liar. I’d agree also surely he was briefed. But again why he lies I have no idea.
