Yes, and here's the oldest president in history using the Short Steps to AF1. My post was about Trump praising Xi and pushing forward the lie that Xi had solved Covid. -

The cost to house an inmate at most US prisons is around $50. We are paying a foreign nation something way higher than luxury hotel rates. -
Ha, I whined once, wherein a posted a link. Someone then asked about it, then you did. Hey I know, let's drop it.
-
See further up, I posted a report about it. Of course not.
-
Yes, he probably overpaid, but also the same problem exists, it's a conditional use property.
-
It wasn't you, amigo, it was the whole thread. But understood and cheers.

NY Post For one thing the Trump administration closed the hotel as a shelter, so again it's odd that we are paying a foreign nation. But again $200 per migrant as opposed to $24,000.00. -

This is actually a good point. The story on NYC reported that the Roosevelt hotel, a luxury hotel was putting up roughly 2,000 aliens at $75,000.00 per month. So roughly $37.50 per person, or $450 per person per year. This El Salvador prison is costing $6,000,000 for 250 persons at $24,000.00 per person. -

The Trump administration is paying the Salvadoran government $6 million to house migrants there. We, the US, are paying El Salvador $6 million to hold roughly 250 prisoners. All arguments as to morality and the Constitution aside - why wouldn't we keep them in the US for much cheaper? -

He's a terrorist, he's not a terrorist, he's a gangbanger, he's a gang victim, he's a father, he's a wifebeater, he has gang tattoos, those tattoos are meaningless... If only there was some way for an independent fact finder to review the evidence in public and make some sort of determination to ensure the law was being followed according to a process that each person subjected to the law would be due. I dunno, man, has anyone thought of a way of doing that? -

Yes it does, but it's just one example of the good America does in the world. -

The US and Nigerian military & diplomatic staff have gradually recovered more than half the kidnapped girls. Pres. Trump received two of the freed girls in the Oval Office. -
Ok I checked, I stand by that. Trump bought it for $10 million.

It's a country club whose operation is contingent on a covenant with the government of Palm Beach County, so its worth is totally hinged on its value as just that, a historic seaside property with outdated decor and limited use. My guess is maybe ~$20 million on that basis, especially considering the lack of buyers for country clubs. The covenant has other restrictions, for example, that the owner cannot live on the property. Trump gets around that by being employed as the club manager but I doubt other people who might buy the club would want to engage in that kind of subterfuge or take on actual management. Again I only mention that because it limits the value of the property.

Buddy, no. Same kid. -
No, not a one. It's a tough life being a hermit in Outer Mongolia.

Second page and not a single post with information or a link about what's happening. Remarkable.

I'm not into schadenfreude, but I do think public officials should be investigated and prosecuted for corruption whenever possible. By IG's, special prosecutors, DA's, USA's, Congress, legislators. However, whenever. And I believe in public records laws. The Trump prosecution stands on its own and his company was fairly and rightly convicted.
