Pam Bondi claims Trump-instigated fentanyl seizures have saved 258 million American lives

This is pretty good. -
Wayyy too long, not gonna read it I know. Bottom line: the Trump family has profited to the tune of roughly $1 billion through foreign investment from places like the UAE, directly through Trump's crypto entities.

Secret Deals, Foreign Investments, Presidential Policy Changes: The Rise of Trump’s Crypto Firm World Liberty Financial has eviscerated the boundary between private enterprise and government policy in ways without precedent in modern American history.

You may be right about that - do you get a high frequency of insults and vulgarity from liberal posters?

>>Ikner is a registered Republican, according to public voter records. He registered in 2022, midway through President Joe Biden’s term in office, records show.<< >>Reid Seybold, a senior at FSU who was around the corner from the shooting when it unfolded, said he knew Ikner from a political discussion group at Tallahassee State College, where he spent the first two years of his education before he transferred to FSU. Seybold, the group's president, said Ikner was asked not to return to the group because of views that Seybold said aligned with white supremacy. “He espoused so much white supremacist rhetoric and far-right rhetoric, as well,” Seybold said. Since then, Seybold said, he has seen Ikner only a couple of times in passing. The current president of the same club, Riley Pusins, said that at meetings, the suspect advocated for President Donald Trump’s agenda and often promoted white supremacist values, even though the club was nonpartisan and was about debate and political discourse. Pusins said many people in the club had labeled the suspect, who attended regularly as recently as last semester, as a fascist. After the meetings, Pusins said, the suspect often made more “inappropriate” comments. He would “go up to the line” in the meeting and then cross the line in comments made after the fact, Pusins said.<< NBC IMO the argument here is that being maga doesn’t equate to this much less being a mass killer. There’s something deeper going on here. -

Political science major, son of a deputy. We hear about the mother, I don’t recall anything about the father, is he even around? The Old Testament verse he quoted, he was obviously religious & thought he was the instrument of divine will. The whole thing is incredibly sad, as are so many of these mass shootings. It’s just madness. Ultimately there are lonely, isolated young men caught up in dogmatism, desperation & online life, & they want to be one part of the story. It’s tragic. But we don’t talk as a society about the guns & the mental health problems. -
This includes a “progressive influencer” & Rep. Omar - am I missing anyone from the above? As far as Omar is concerned, she’s frequently awful. I do think people & voters should reject that kind of behavior. However my point was about maga posters as responders. It’s often seen in discussions IMO & what gets me is that maga thinks of themselves as conservative or pro family values, but the insults & vulgarity are frequent from them online. But someone like Horsey is just a dude, same goes for the online personality whoever that is, someone like Omar is more significant. Voters should expect their elected officials to be good examples.

Trump defies the courts, Sends migrants to El Sal Prison

I'm really glad a judge finally ruled on this. -
Yes, I'm sure when he awakens the father of the guy under investigation for doing venture capital investment deals in Ukraine will be horrified to learn the King of Maga & ketchup-thrower-in-chief just secured $175 billion in Ukraine investment. Can't wait to see who gets to handle those contracts.

HHS and Biden admin partook in child trafficking
SaintsInDome2006 replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
Trump administration is deporting American children, which IMO is indeed awful. And we (all of us) can be about both. If Bobby Jr. had evidence of this cruelty by all means please arrest people, I'm not kidding of snarking. -

SaintsInDome2006 replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
If only there was an AG and FBI Director who we could trust to investigate this and put the traffickers in jail. I really hope they don't condone this now that the HHS Secretary (former drug user/seller/babysitter-stealer) has revealed the truth. If they don't act they're in on it. -
Dallas Mavericks Trade Doncic for Lakers Anthony Davis

I was happy to see the Lakers and the association thwarted. And the Twolves are a fun team, they have turned it around which is hard to do in the NBA. -

I love this pronouncement came from the HHS, not the AG or DHS sec or FBI Director. No it comes from an ex-heroine dealer who banged his babysitter. How old was she again? -

NSA Mike Waltz & Deputy NSA Alex Wong are out. Actually Waltz is as close as a norm as there is in that administration, but hey the Trump tiltawhirl administration style we saw in the 1st go round just continues in the 2nd. He went through what like 4-5 NSAs the first time? -
And this is great. With Trump his whole thing is promoting himself, & Ukraine took advantage of that. Trump repeatedly got out over his skis with over-promising & grandiose demands & he was desperate for it, especially with the tariff disaster. Here’s what’s really great about this: more Americans & more American businesses in Ukraine. This will make Russia’s terroristic bombing spree even riskier because if & when they hit Americans it will draw the US closer in to direct support. This also brings Ukraine closer to joining the EU, which IMO has always been Putin’s biggest fear, not NATO. & the US commercial & financial involvement will only impel greater reform. The way this has turned out, I’m all for it. And if maga loves it all the better.

This cracks me up. I’m in favor of the agreement as constituted but it’s not what Trump sold it to his followers as. This is the way he sold ‘the wall’, claiming Mexico would pay for it.

Sort of stuff you see in North Korean propaganda. It’s ludicrous but that’s the point, it’s just ever heightened praise because if you don’t your zeal is deemed wanting. -
Son of Kiln MS. Saints should’ve drafted him. But the falcs are the falcs because they traded him to the Pack. He threw one of the greatest passes I ever saw in the Dome, when he was with the Packers, across his body to the other side of the field, deep like 60 yards, to beat the Saints. But the game we love takes a toll on those who stay too long, that has to be reckoned with.
