He ordered prosecutors to turn over all of it to Comey’s defense lawyers by close of business Thursday. Fitzpatrick also demanded that DOJ simultaneously provide Comey all records of the grand jury proceedings that led to his indictment, so he can determine if any potentially privileged information was used to secure the charges.…. Comey’s attorneys, including former federal prosecutor Patrick Fitzgerald, said they intend to stick to the expedited trial schedule despite challenges combing through massive troves of evidence. That evidence includes reams of classified information that Fitzgerald said he has not been able to review because of a delay in obtaining a security clearance.<<

See to me, that’s disqualifying. He’s hiring people not because of merit but servility. The fact these people are quite frequently TV/media personalities just means he thinks they’re attractive too, & again to me that’s not merit. And IMO they’re being of a certain type fits as part of that as well. And I’m probably going to agree with you all day long about DEI generally.

There’s going to be a lot of bad hyperbole here with the Marxism & communism. NYPost has a hammer & sickle next to Z’s picture. But also the Republicans are totally right about reversing the policies which have energized NYC since the 1980s. I just see a populist reaction here, people rejecting Cuomo, Adams & Trump, & I’m expecting a lot of personality & media conflict with Trump. But *if he improves NYC & gains popularity in NYC itself then it could be a game changer for Dems. OTOH the last 2 mayors (one progressive, the other occasionally supported by maga) ended up being generally disliked & that could happen too.

So Singh was here on a work permit, so he was legal but not a citizen. It is truly sad what you mention in Denver. I have a family friend whose daughter knew 4 college aged girls killed on US 90 a couple years ago. Tragic, awful stuff.
