  1. No, sadly it's pedestrian. It's more like the OMB hack under Obama, only hundreds of times more data and involving far more sensitive data. And voluntary by the US government.
  2. Thanks for posting the link - Trump1 at 381 days or 26% of his presidency is 3rd. Bush Jr. was second. Main difference is the US taxpayer paying Trump’s 3 primary properties for the cost of Secret Service & security - do you know what came to vs Biden? TIA.

Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

Sponging? How much money in taxes and revenues do you think the people of North Carolina have put into the federal government over the decades? Trillions? The conservative argument is that money belongs to them & they’re entitled to it.

Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

For different reasons conservatives & liberals have the same POV on this: FEMA should support the people of Carolina. I don’t know what this is, but it’s not conservatism.

Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

Friday. Maybe the Governor was unaware he had received funds.
  8. It’s not random, it’s specifically about the poll on immigration you posted.

Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

As of Friday Gov. Stein was appealing the FEMA decision.

Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

I’m sure you know this but Gov. Sarah Huckabee used to be Trump’s mouthpiece & is 100% maga.

    Trump and The Constitution

This doesn’t have anything to do with due process, for Americans, travelers & legal entrants, or illegals. It is interesting though given how often we’re oft told Dems are responsible for the border crisis when in fact they made urgent National statements just like this and also consistently carried out the same policies as Republicans & sometimes even more effectively. Biden & Obama both deported & removed record numbers, while also adhering to the Constitution. There’s only been one exception to all of this dating back to 1968 when the current INA was passed, it’s the current occupant of the White House.

    Trump and The Constitution

Fwiw, & I haven’t heard the audio yet, Clinton & Obama were unafraid to take strong stands on immigration. Biden’s bill was absolutely the right thing to do, still is, but like everything with him it showed no urgency & wasn’t coupled with this kind of enunciated language to the voters.

    Trump and The Constitution

Boom! If a person is deported they’ve received an adjudication, if they haven’t had a hearing they haven’t been deported. Deportation is a proceeding, it’s not a trial & not strictly a traditional hearing, but it’s own thing.

  15. Same poll has the US 73-27 against deporting American citizens. And Trump is -2 on immigration overall. CBS

    Trump is Q

The corruption in this administration is completely unprecedented. There’s nothing close, not even Trump1. Right now Trump is selling access to cabinet meetings. It’s beyond stunning & brazen.

Kilmar Abrego Garcia & Trump El Salvador deportations thread.

Thanks. No doubt I argued with him about it myself at one point or another. But IMO it’s just another of a score of examples of how maga isn’t really conservative or traditionally Republican. Because that used to mean defending American as a beacon for liberty for the rest of the world.
  19. Eventually if we have another free & fair presidential election in this country, IMO the big scandal will be the public data taken out by Musk for his private use & there will be a struggle to get it back or investigate what happened to it. But that’s a far way off no doubt.
  20. Yep. If Trump hadn’t fired all the IGs, who do this kind of work, maybe this wouldn’t be so notable. But as it is it’s tge best analysis to date. ++++++++++++++ >>The analysis seeks to tally the costs associated with putting tens of thousands of federal employees on paid leave, re-hiring mistakenly fired workers and lost productivity, according to the Partnership for Public Service (PSP), a nonpartisan nonprofit that focuses on the federal workforce. PSP's estimate is based on the $270 billion in annual compensation costs for the federal workforce, calculating the impact of DOGE's actions, from paid leave to productivity hits. The $135 billion cost to taxpayers doesn't include the expense of defending multiple lawsuits challenging DOGE's actions, nor the impact of estimated lost tax collections due to staff cuts at the IRS.<< >>The IRS, which is planning on cutting roughly 40% of its workforce, could forego $323 billion in tax revenue over the next decade due to lower tax compliance and a decline in audits, according to an estimatefrom the Yale Budget Lab.<< >>One analysis by researchers at institutions including the University of Maryland and University of Pennsylvania estimates that cuts to health research will result in a $16 billion annual economic loss, with 68,000 jobs lost.<< ++++++++++++ The report points out it’s not even including additional cascading effects like these, so it’s probably on the conservative side.

IMO we sent the kid back to be a communist drone & propaganda tool. He had a chance at freedom in America - where btw he had family. His mother died trying to get him here.

LIBERATION DAY: USA and China agree to a 90 day pause on most new tariffs

It’s about the effect on the US economy, global US power, & the effect on Americans at large including those who aren’t investors. But what it really says is the non-US regions are adapting & doing well & the US is only injuring itself.
