    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

"To the best of my knowledge we've never had a president that solved one war."
  2. >> SO WHAT’S A ‘TOLL RECORD’ AND HOW IS IT OBTAINED? Well, it isn’t phone-tapping. Such records don’t include information about the content of calls, especially in real-time. Instead, toll records include data about calls, allowing for potential analysis of the “source or destination of a call; the times of calls; and the dates, frequency, sequence, patterns, and duration of calls to/from one or many telephones” (as a fairly old Justice Department handbook explains). It’s not clear what information about calls to or from the senators’ phones were obtained by the FBI, given the qualifier “limited” in the published document’s description. Importantly, the authorization for obtaining the records followed the approval of a subpoena by a grand jury, according to CBS News. In other words, this wasn’t the FBI simply digging into phone records. It was the government presenting a case to grand jurors that the records would be useful in their investigation and the jurors agreeing.<< Bump This is the most legal thing there ever was.

    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

Secondary Delusions: Trump’s Totalist Mythology - Inside the dual-delusion loop that defines an authoritarian psyche. >> The president of the United States is delusional. He believes things that are just not true. But what does that really mean psychologically? And how might it help explain some of his behavior? This article will show several recent examples of Donald Trump’s delusional conduct, and explain how the people around him have helped him create a totalist mythology based on a dual-delusion system.<< - An interesting piece.
  4. You know, it’s funny. I think this happened because Jack Smith just did an interview where he made several statements: - “The DOJ was my home for many, many years. That home is now on fire.” - “In a society where the rule of law is eroding, you can have a situation where if you’re a Latino citizen… you can be stopped, detained, your liberty taken because of the color of your skin. Or maybe because you were speaking Spanish… whereas we all know that if you were white, that would never happen.” - “You do the right thing. You do it the right way. And you do it for the right reasons.” - “Trust that has been won and earned over generations has been lost in weeks.” - “Stand up to powerful people, and stand up for vulnerable people. Wherever and whenever you can. - “As Martin Luther King Jr. reminded us, the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends towards justice. But that arc doesn’t bend on its own. We need to make that happen.” ++++++ Still he hasn’t talked about the work he was doing, & in particular he’s never said what he thought Trump was ultimately doing with the classified documents he stole. This seems like a really foolish maneuver by the Trumpis as Smith could ultimately get to unfurl many of the things that DOJ rules have prevented him from saying.

    No topic on George Santos?

Santos is the 10th GOP Congressman to get a pardon from Trump.
  6. Definitely true, including foreign cross dressers convicted of fraud & identity theft.

    No topic on George Santos?

Trump recognizes another master of the con.
  8. Pretty sure the DOJ did this to Rep. William Jefferson. DOJ even raided & searched Jefferson’s office at the Capitol.

Fascist attacks on Individuals and Speech

    Wo sind deine Papiere?
  10. I’m sure this will result in an indictment but a federal prosecutor obtaining data pursuant to court order *after a criminal event is neither spying nor illegal. Not to mention waiting so long (good lord 15 months) doesn’t even fit the ‘rush to judgment’ claim.
  11. Fwiw another couple Oscar award winners about prostitutes include “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” and “Streetcar Named Desire.” Also, “Midnight Cowboy,” starting GOP spokesman Jon Voight, who was awarded a National Medal of the Arts by the Nation’s Leader Trump.

DHS to charge migrants granted humanitarian parole $1K fee

Ha as a country we are basically low life welchers now, lying, going back on our word, our assurances, our contracts. We’re like some habitual bankrupt who shorts his vendors, workers & partners.
  13. Thanks, I suspected that was what he was referring to.

    What’s for lunch?

Quite agree, I got specific places for that.

    What’s for lunch?

Well half’n’half, half fried oysters & half fried shrimp.
  16. >>Just one “verified” Tren de Aragua member and one U.S. citizen with an active warrant were among the 37, DHS said, without saying how it had verified that gang affiliation. Others taken that day, the agency said, were “illegal aliens.” In other words, while the administration says it is disrupting transnational gang activity, the bulk of those detained seem to have no serious record. In fact, federal data shows that over 70% of detainees who were being held as of last month by Immigration and Customs Enforcement nationally had no criminal convictions.<<
  17. >> Martínez’s wife, who did not want to be named for fear of immigration authorities, said he's lived in Illinois for 30 years. She acknowledged he’s “made mistakes in the past, but in the 10 years we have been together he had no issues with the law. He’s a good husband, a father to two teenage U.S. citizens, and a hard worker.” <<
  18. >> In tears, Rojas said these immigration operations ostensibly aimed at gangsters are tearing families apart. Her mother came to the U.S. from Mexico in 1995, she said. “She has worked hard. She has paid her taxes. She’s done everything possible to make sure she isn’t a problem here,” the 21-year-old daughter said. “And she has raised me here my entire life.”<<

The Judiciary is a major problem.

Well I was talking about the scenario where it could have happened while Bill Clinton was President, which I’d think we both could agree on. As for your comp about a hypothetical where Bill’s past actions would’ve been dug up when Hillary ran years later, you’re forgetting something. Trump made the payments when President, and in leading up to his taking office. That brings it back to being more like the 1st hypothetical with Bill doing it while in office.

The Judiciary is a major problem.

Hold on, In specifically mentioned the Clintons, is that so far fetched? They had an LLC investigated. If they had found Bill using it to make and hide hush money payments it would’ve been curtains for him. I thought that was pretty reasonable.
  22. Wait, I can handle an internet insult, but who is big Mike? Is that about Obama, Harris? TIA.
  23. If they had ‘drug smuggler’ tattooed on their forehead this administration would completely screw it up.
  24. Well I definitely agree with you that men who try to pay women for sex & who have affairs with porn stars shouldn’t be elevated to positions of influence. Totally agree there.
