>>…In an interview yesterday with NBC News, President Donald Trump was asked whether American auto companies will be forced to raise prices given his new tariffs. His response? “I couldn’t care less if they raise prices, because people are going to start buying American-made cars,” per NBC’s Kristen Welker and Alexandra Marquez. Trump went on: “I couldn’t care less. I hope they raise their prices, because if they do, people are gonna buy American-made cars. … f the prices on foreign cars go up, they’re going to buy American cars.”<<

Pete Hegseth texted war plans to a reporter by accident

This actually highlights how bizarre all this is. Maga advertises itself as hating MSM, normal policy, journalism. And yet here is the head of the Trump CIA plugging a journalist into his chat. How odd. This would be like FBID Wray just whoops bcc’ing Tucker Carlson or some Rumble podcaster into a sensitive email chain. There is *no way a Wray would have such a person in his contacts but golly it sure looks like Waltz is in contact with Goldberg & apparently Trump (who also contacts the loathed MSM) is fine with it too. -

Today DNI Directo Tulsi Gabbard testified there was nothing classified in the communications & SOD “Pete”, the former morning cable tv morning news host, said repeatedly it wasn’t classified at all. Dir. CIA Ratcliffe testified no mistake was made. Have fun bringing evidence. -

Just one other thought - I think you’re talking about stochastic violence. So not a situation where someone calls to a crowd of followers for direct action against someone or something nearby but instead basically ginning up hate & calumny ti the point someone somewhere will act on it. What happened to Paul Pelosi is an example of that, & maybe there’s a left wing example of that. -

Earlier in the discussion I pointed out that a threat needs to be imminent & proximate, that is, realistic. Anyway thanks for the discussion. -

>“How do you win elections in Texas as a Democrat? What do you do? Especially statewide.”< That was the question proposed to Crockett. No I don’t think any judge or jury would reasonably believe that she was telling foaming followers in her vicinity to walk over to a nearby Ted Cruz & hit him on the head. -

The comp for that would be a politician speaking in a public square calling on a throng of thousands of loyal followers to storm a nearby public building. That would have imminence & a specific threat of violence. Yes I’d agree that person could at least be arrested. -

It’s not actionable because no was incited because no one has committed violence at her instigation. But regardless I’m talking about the general principle that we agree should apply to all public officials. -

Have you ever looked at how many forums there are here? This is for geeks/nerds discussing whatever. Go pick one, there’s like 15. -

Let’s just shake on this: a public official who incites others to violence should be removed & charged. The more sacred the institutions attacked, the more senior the officials attacked, the worse the sentence should be. Agreed? -

I agree, except the last bit. Trump has personally called reporters himself, but regardless someone needs to be held accountable here. -

It’s funny because if Trump cans Waltz it will be because they think he’s talking to Goldberg, not because of the OpSec disaster. -

That would be the DNI. Whoever appointed him is reckless. But to be clear the message wasn’t encrypted, Goldberg’s just a dude on Signal & any foreign IS can hack or monitor it. Witkoff was in the Kremlin while this was going on btw. What’s your OpSec guide say about that? -
