Kilmar Abrego Garcia & Trump El Salvador deportations thread.

It was Trump appointee HHS Sec. Alex Azar, January 18, 2020. Prior to that on January 3rd Trump appointee CDC Director Robert Redfield alerted the NSC & IC as to the virus and the warning was included in the President’s Daily Brief (PDB). -

Nancy Mesonnier stated it was a national health emergency in the 2nd or 3rd week of February, she was fired for it. But briefings on the WH started the 1st week of January, I have no idea who but it’s easy took up. Trump trusted Xi instead. -

January of 2020 our HHS & NIH already knew about the spread of the epidemic and its origin in China. Trump already had received briefings by then, he chose to believe Xi over his own advisors. -

Or $98 per days. Right, $46 per day. Further up I said $50. -
There are such laws, they're malicious prosecution suits. I know because I come from a corrupt (yes Dem led) city where prosecutors have been found to manufacture and hide evidence.
-
From what I recall Clinton got investigated and impeached - which I supported - for seducing a young intern into sex and was also investigated for a real estate deal in which two of his partners went to jail in his home state and this happened in his own DOJ. And Sen. John Edwards was investigated and charged for nearly the same thing as Trump, hush money to his paramour, again in his home state and by a Dem (Obama) DOJ. So I'm not quite sure why a Dem Trump would have avoided what a Dem President and a Dem VP nominee could not have. I mean for gods sake if Obama had been found to have slagged a pron star and a nude model and paid them off? You seriously think he would have survived that?

Then prosecute them. The best course for cleaning the swamp is to investigate public officials or to remind them that they can always be investigated.

I must say, it sounds glorious. Enjoy. -
Like I said, you can discuss whether James committed a crime or may have without discussing the Trump issue. Personally IMO if she did commit mortgage or tax fraud should be prosecuted for it.
-
That's a trick question - he got prosecuted on this because he hung Michael Cohen out to dry, and Michael Cohen never gets investigated if Trump doesn't run because Cohen was running cover on the Stormy Daniels story, which Trump wouldn't have had to do if he hadn't run for office. Trump wouldn't even have paid Stormy if he had just sat tight with his happy little life as a hotel manager.

Exactly. And Jena ain't no picnic either. The Trump administration is spending a wild amount of money on 250 prisoners. -
Eh, I won't say that. I take it DOJ prosecutors or VA state DA's will honestly represent what they see to be the facts. Even if it's a bad prosecution - like what happened with the Danchenko and Sussman prosecutions by Durham - the juries will rule decisively against the prosecutors.

Thanks, and to be clear I'm from Louisiana, so that number was what I recalled about Angola. And fwiw The Trump administration is sending a lot of its controversial alien arrests to Jena, LA. -

Yes, and here's the oldest president in history using the Short Steps to AF1. My post was about Trump praising Xi and pushing forward the lie that Xi had solved Covid. -

The cost to house an inmate at most US prisons is around $50. We are paying a foreign nation something way higher than luxury hotel rates. -
Ha, I whined once, wherein a posted a link. Someone then asked about it, then you did. Hey I know, let's drop it.
-
See further up, I posted a report about it. Of course not.
-
Yes, he probably overpaid, but also the same problem exists, it's a conditional use property.
-
It wasn't you, amigo, it was the whole thread. But understood and cheers.

NY Post For one thing the Trump administration closed the hotel as a shelter, so again it's odd that we are paying a foreign nation. But again $200 per migrant as opposed to $24,000.00. -

This is actually a good point. The story on NYC reported that the Roosevelt hotel, a luxury hotel was putting up roughly 2,000 aliens at $75,000.00 per month. So roughly $37.50 per person, or $450 per person per year. This El Salvador prison is costing $6,000,000 for 250 persons at $24,000.00 per person. -

The Trump administration is paying the Salvadoran government $6 million to house migrants there. We, the US, are paying El Salvador $6 million to hold roughly 250 prisoners. All arguments as to morality and the Constitution aside - why wouldn't we keep them in the US for much cheaper?
