  1. What people with no known orthopedic injury get MRIs and also get requested to do cognitive tests? I’m not being snarky I’m genuinely curious, what diagnosis does it signify?
  2. Sooo… the repeated cognitive tests, the MRIs, the crooked walks, the gibberish about 1200% reduction in health costs, the public DM to his AG, being pushed around by his counterparts is…. a choice.
  3. LOL man IIRC the age limitation was your idea.
  4. There are mirroring videos of Biden being redirected off the stage by Obama & Trump being led around like a doterer by the Japanese PM. We have ‘you know the thing’ & cofeve & ‘I can tell a giraffe from an elephant!.’ We have a hidden cancer diagnosis & mystery MRIs. I mean…we have met the enemy and it is us.
  5. The thing where Grassley rotely reads off of index cards presented by his staffers is pretty bad. McConnell freezing. Pelosi breaking her hip in a fall. There’s a lot finger pointing and maybe everyone ought to take a moment & think about reforms about limiting ages of officials, pardons, campaign finance & profiting from office. We just keep throwing rocks at each other.

    Comey to be Indicted

I don’t think NY was the only place to do that. Different states have done that because of the late in life reports of child abuse. I hate to say it (Catholic here) but the Church abuse scandals have played a role in that. - ETA - I’d add the aftereffects of Epstein, Weinstein, Woody Allen, & other MeToo stories that came out about girls & young women too stunned or intimidated to speak out or file charges after their experiences.

Ah the fickle bonds of populism. May have a bit of a Hillary/Harris problem there.

    Mass Deportation

The DEA said it arrested 171 ‘high ranking’ Sinaloa Cartel members. A Spotlight investigation found that’s not true. President Trump’s escalating war against Latin American drug cartels crashed into this leafy old mill town with surprising force one morning in late August, when heavily armed federal agents and local police kicked off a series of raids by tossing a flash-bang grenade and bashing in a door. The special agent in charge of the US Drug Enforcement Administration’s New England division, Jarod Forget, said the crackdown “led to 171 cartel member arrests” across the region, including 27 in Franklin. The DEA didn’t name any of the suspects, but Forget described them as “high-level arrests” that were part of a national sweep that netted more than 600 operatives of the feared organization over five days. “We’re the DEA,” Forget told an interviewer at the time. “We’re not going after low-level retail drug traffickers.” Except that isn’t true. A Globe Spotlight Team investigation found that many of the DEA’s targets in New England were precisely the people Forget said they were not: addicts, low-level dealers, shoplifters, and people living at a homeless encampment.

“Supply Change.” The notorious “Albania-Armenian” peace deal. Trump must have three word avalanches a day.

You *are aware there are multiple pics of Trump in tennis & golf togs with brown stains, right? And a lot of speculation about whether he has a waste bag?

    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

This actually just reminds people Biden rides bikes. His foot got jammed which is something that could’ve happened to a 22 year old. Can you imagine Trump riding a bike?? OMG. Just the mental picture of it.
  14. Actually the subject is Trump’s shadow campaign for a 3rd term, but I’m glad to discuss this. IMO - & only that - the time to make that decision (as I did answer you above) was late 2022 up to mid 2023. In 2024 I think the thing to do was either stick with Biden (yes) or hand off to Harris. Obviously the 2nd option failed. I was also trying to agree with you at least to the extent of the cancer diagnosis. To me the what/where/when of that is worth digging into, but Republicans have no interest in it. It’s a lot of Iranian style public flagellation for the Grand Ayatollah instead.
  15. Eh IMO straight up a sick Biden was in all ways - education, experience, knowledge, cognitively, emotionally, character - a better qualified candidate than Trump. (Please I don’t want to debate that). To me the primary thing you have a point on is Biden’s cancer diagnosis. Let’s just say I agree with you on that. I’m guessing you agree Trump now needs to come clean on his MRIs, diagnoses & cognitive results? Maybe like Biden we should also know what meds he’s on?
  16. Pfft, ask me and there should have been an open primary in late 2022/2023. But yeah 2024 was too late. I do think Vance is facing the same problem now, but who knows maybe they’ll open it up rather than just do whatever Trump says. We haven’t seen that in a long long time but hey maybe Trump will lose his thrall over them as a lame duck.
  17. Fixed. Apologies, just my yat accent. - I was just pointing out that the desire for Trump’s 3rd term generated out of magaverse originally.

Fascist attacks on Individuals and Speech

2 more federal prosecutors being purged, tgis time for describing the January 6th attack as a ‘mob’ and ‘rioters’ in a brief. >>…The two prosecutors, Carlos Valdivia and Samuel White, were locked out of their government devices and informed Wednesday morning they will be placed on leave, just hours after they filed a sentencing memorandum in the case of Taylor Taranto, the sources said. Taranto was pardoned by President Donald Trump over his involvement in the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol but faced a separate conviction for firearms and threat charges related to a June 2023 arrest near the home of former President Barack Obama where he was found in possession of two guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, as well as a machete. A day before Taranto's arrest, he claimed he would use a car bomb to drive into the National Institute of Standards and Technology. In their sentencing memorandum, Valdivia and White used only two sentences to detail Taranto's involvement in the Jan. 6 attack. On January 6, 2021, thousands of people comprising a mob of rioters attacked the U.S. Capitol while a joint session of Congress met to certify the results of the 2020 presidential election," the memorandum said. "Taranto was accused of participating in the riot in Washington, D.C., by entering the U.S. Capitol Building. After the riot, Taranto returned to his home in the State of Washington, where he promoted conspiracy theories about the events of January 6, 2021." ..<<

    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

Trump received MRI at Walter Reed. What health conditions has he been diagnosed with? >>President Donald Trump said on Oct. 27 that he received an MRI earlier this month. Trump went to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Oct. 10 for what he called his "semi-annual physical." He had already had a physical in April. Speaking with reporters on Air Force One on his way to Japan, Trump was asked if he received an MRI during his doctor's visit. "I did, I got an MRI, it was perfect," Trump said, adding that the reporter would need to ask the doctors for the reason why he underwent MRI testing. "I think they gave you a very conclusive. ... Nobody has ever given you reports like I gave you. And if I didn't think it was going to be good... I wouldn't run...The doctor said some of the best reports for the age." What is an MRI? MRI stands for magnetic resonance imaging. It creates detailed images and is used for looking at soft tissues within the body. When did Trump go to Walter Reed? Trump went to Walter Reed for a physical on April 11. The president was found to be in excellent health and his high cholesterol was well-controlled, according to a report by White House physician U.S. Navy Captain Sean Barbabella. Trump went again on Oct. 10, where he received “advanced imaging, lab testing and preventative assessments.” He also got the flu and COVID-19 booster shots. Barbabella said Trump remains in "excellent overall health," according to the White House. Trump went again on Oct. 10, where he received “advanced imaging, lab testing and preventative assessments.” He also got the flu and COVID-19 booster shots. … She said he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency or CVI, which occurs when leg veins fail to send blood back to the heart properly. That can lead to swelling in the legs. According to the National Institutes of Health, more than 150,000 new patients are diagnosed with the condition each year. An estimated 10% to 35% of adults have chronic venous insufficiency in the United States. …<<
