    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

Sounds like he had another cognitive test as well. - It was weird enough when he had one in Trump1, and then Pompeo & Co. discussing the 25th at one point. Now a cognitive test again combined with a MRI. Worrisome stuff.

    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

I’ll save you the trouble it’s a video of Trump himself saying he had an MRI. Feel feee to wait 3 weeks until Breitbart or RWB picks it up.

Fascist attacks on Individuals and Speech

I think the Jersey Dem running for Governor is willing to talk about why she didn’t walk at her graduation at the Naval Academy, her issue is with the federal government handing over private data / information over to a political campaign.
  6. In NFL history, only 2 quarterbacks have ever had 2,000 passing yards, 15 touchdown passes, and a 75% completion rate through their team’s first 8 games: - Drew Brees, Saints (2018) - Drake Maye, Patriots (2025).

Republicans introduce amendment so trump can get third term

And there it is. Just curious, have you seen this floated or discussed online or on tv/radio, etc? TIA.

    Based on his public comments?

Republicans introduce amendment so trump can get third term

Let’s phrase it this way: if Trump thinks he can do it, like actually be permitted to run, would he do it?

So I take it it’s ok if people take pictures of public officials who they believe are committing crimes, so it can be reported to the press or authorities? The mayor wasn’t indicted at the time.
  11. Guarantee you those Appalachian counties voted for Trump.
  12. The authority to create FEMA is in the Constitution. Congress passed the law establishing it & governing its operations. The executive branch executes that law.
  13. If only there was a way to elect someone who would put competent people in charge.
  14. I have this theory that as the Trump2 administration scrapes every last piece of expertise & competence from government they’re just throwing their hands up & giving up on their legal obligations because they don’t know how to do things. For instance the use of the US Navy to do drug interdiction seems more logical when you realize who’s running DHS & DEA & ATF. They’re arguably just clueless so they just shift the responsibility rather than be accountable.

If you’re a constitutionalist, please note the control of immigration you describe is specifically reserved to Congress, not the President. Congress hasn’t authorized any of this.

On your first point, I’m just trying to follow you. I thought you were saying they were taking authority to devolve authority, thats what I meant by decline.

Looking to speed up building network of migrant detention centers, Trump administration turns to the US Navy >>One of the sources said the goal is for the facilities to house as many as 10,000 people each, and are expected to be built in Louisiana, Georgia, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Utah and Kansas. Additional details about the facilities remain unclear, as the contracting process is still ongoing.<<

But in this situation you have billionaires directly with their hands on the levers of power. For people who decline authority they sure have a firm grip on it.

Republicans introduce amendment so trump can get third term

I’m glad to discuss the presidential immunity elsewhere, it’s long & complex. However my point is up until summer of 2024 it was a completely unheard, unargued & ridiculed theory. So you may say oh this is ridiculous as well. I also dispute the 6-majority are strict constitutionalists, they are not IMO. And I’m not saying Trump will do this, I tend to agree more with Mike’s point further up about the Thiel-Vance faction demanding & getting a handoff as part of all this (& no doubt the Trump family will be handsomely compensated). I think that has more sway on the decision than (sadly) the constitution.

Eh I agreed with your other point further up about Vance. - No worries on the replies, thanks for the responses.

Republicans introduce amendment so trump can get third term

Thank you for the response. I disagree. I think the Court that grew presidential immunity out of its elbow will either 1. Side with Trump, or 2. Delay things so long that it won’t matter. I’m not saying Trump will do this but IMO tge pathway is there.

Do you understand how laws work? I’m not being facetious. A body and force must enforce them.

Republicans introduce amendment so trump can get third term

I just asked you a simple question & you exploded. If you don’t know how it would work, well that’s my point.

I’m sorry, just to clarify, who will tell him that?
