  1. My guess is you have worked for a living and done a damn good job at what you do, and you’ve done it while following the rules of your trade, fair? Now imagine doing that job and if you screw one thing up, do one thing wrong, some litigious jerk sues you for it, for amounts you’ll never make in a lifetime. How careful would you be.
  2. Scarborough isn’t a journalist. He’s a Republican who used ti be a Congressman. And he’s definitely not a doctor either.
  3. Everyone on this board I’m sure works for a living. Imagine getting sued for getting one thing wrong, especially with someone as litigious as Don Trump.
  4. Because journalists are trained and bound to follow professional standards. I’m sure your boss doesn’t stand over you and watch every thing you do because you’re responsible & follow the standards of your trade.
  5. Golly now why would people in the Trump DOJ want to keep their names concealed, why would they be concerned…???
  6. Handling the sex trafficking & extortion rackets for the Trump family? Yeah that fits.

Israel Gaza thread- is the peace agreement still in effect?

So naturally he put the guy managing the Saudi Royal sovereign investment fund in charge of running the show for him. Who is also, weirdly enough, his daughter’s husband.

    Oh Canada

    C’mon Blue Jays!!
  9. See in order to do that he’d need an actual Congress. Is he calling on Johnson to permit Congress to reopen?
  10. Correct. The personal criminal lawyer for the president, who has also been implicated with Epstein, Blanche, who is simultaneously the Deputy Attorney General, went and met with Maxwell, and then later the DOJ granted Maxwell leniency by shifting her to a lower security prison. Same guy.

Trump’s ambassador to Kuwait just a wee bit anti-Israel.
  12. Trump just pardoned a man who was the driver behind $4.3 BILLION in fraud, his operation took money from Al Qaeda, Hamas & ‘Palestinian Islamic Jihad’ aka PIJ (hint, they ain’t nice). The acts included multiple mass ransomware attacks, transactions of sale of child abuse materials & narcotics, blackmail, & fraud. Carry on.
  13. LoL, mortgage fraud. They must think this is a real winner. Until the loan officer doesn’t cooperate. And the bank doesn’t cooperate. And until they learn the borrower honestly reported their intention in writing. Etc. Sounds like another stinker. By USA Kelly Hayes who just indicted Bolton. Whoof.
  14. Fun the way the government works now - Blanche *was Trump’s personal criminal defense lawyer but then he was appointed Deputy AG but then also he *still represents Trump in his numerous appeals. He both represents Trump as a convicted felon AND he works for the DOJ and runs cover for stories about people Trump feverishly fears to be his enemies. Great, right?
  15. Ah yes, THE Nick Arama, Red State blogger and author of such fondly recalled pieces as “Watch: Dems Are Already Panicking About JD Vance Becoming 48 - It's Glorious!”
  16. Former SDNY US Attorney (under Trump btw) represents Schiff.

Fetterman defends Trump's 'tasteful' $200M White House ballroom makeover

This is a completely meaningless statement Constitutionally.

Fetterman defends Trump's 'tasteful' $200M White House ballroom makeover

There are about 8 paragraphs to be written on this, but I’ll just say it’s a monument, it’s the property of the American people and go look at Section I of the Constitution about appropriation. Its constantly disappointing & bizarre that people who think of themselves as conservative Republicans are the ones constantly calling for it to be struck through.

Ok this game. Dems/GOP did XYZ & also ABC, & red/blue said nothing & cared nought, so our values are shitte & negated.

Ok you’ve already said you treasure the WH, right? So do I, and I think almost all Americans do. Obviously the 9/11/01 hijackers wanted to destroy it, some people feel that way about it I guess. You & I feel the same way about it, you just think we have no choice on the matter & that all this is perfectly legal. Personally even if it were legal I find it disgusting defacement of a great American symbol. I don’t know, again I just see it as sad. I’m not sure if anyone will ever do anything about it.

What are we debating here? I’m not blaming you or shaming you. You think this ok, I don’t. I do sincerely appreciate the responses.

Seaf, it’s cool. I treasure American history & its iconic symbols. Also just in general doing something of this magnitude without Congressional approval is wrong & unconstitutional. I know how you feel about things & where you fall ideologically. So it’s cool, it’s not a problem for you, got it.

Gentleman, please. I didn’t raise that point however. IMO the White House is an American icon & monument, and this particular piece was build by one of the great Presidents, a Republican. It’s tragic.

If Obama did this with a GOP majority he’d have been impeached by 800 pm. Of course we don’t even have a Congress right now. I’m not addressing your values, you laid them out perfectly fine there. I never raised ‘if Obama / Biden did it.’
