You might be thinking of Franz Gurtner. No, he was never sued or charged criminally. -

He's not Hitler. Schmucks like The Donald didn't last long with that gang. -

I'm aware, and it's the people who restrained him who are running around waving their arms telling people what a danger is if he gets back in unrestrained. That's the point. -

Yes, when out of power Actual Hitler went to jail. When in power he went after his enemies. See it's that second part... -

I’m not sure ‘this is just another Watergate & Iran-Contra’ is the gotchya you might think. Especially as for Reagan & Nixon they were singular administrative disasters while Trump has had so many (a dozen?) It’s practically a management model. -

I do think there is something to the derangement piece though, just like there is to orange man bad. And it’s not really a defense of Maga but it’s kind of understandable almost rational - given this subject, about how no level of insane claim, real or false, is persuasive to the followers - but once someone thinks the political world is insane well yeah I guess then the insane seems like the perfect answer. But I’m guessing that wasn’t the derangement you’re referring to. -

Trump broke Giuliani in a way that is so complete & total it’s unimaginable. Appeared on national TV in drag. Lost his reputation, all his finances, his law practice, criminally charged, lost his family, his home, forced to live in Florida, completely out of even the Maga political future. Four Seasons humiliation, the dripping hair color, the scene in the movie where he thinks he’s getting lucky with an underaged girl. Just utter devastation. -

Yep, a disease shared with some of the best & the brightest in the Trump administration. Generals, chiefs of staff, AGs, Vice Presidents… pretty good deranged company. -

So… tonight a senior Trump campaign advisor (Lanza) said on CNN tonight that a very damaging story is emerging in the next couple days & then another after that. First of all again absolutely nothing will dissuade a Trump follower. He could be seen en flagrante with Hillary Clinton, Epstein, Ivanka & Xi & it would not phase them. Secondly I’m starting to wonder if the October Surprise is going to be a salacious story that fits the bill of an October surprise but which will be some sort of sort of super reverse gotcha on whoever scoops it. -

Just on this, didn’t the 2 Hunter IRS employees sue the Feds, or am i misremembering that? I know Hunter has sued them or the IRS for privacy violations & IIRC that’s progressing. There are statutes for this stuff, with civil penalties most often. The problem is instead of looking to that is turning to The One Who Only He Can Fix. -

I was trying to say Tree made a reasonable, believable point about Axios. However as to this non sequitur, yes they’re all “backstabbing deep staters,” all of them, the swimsuit models, the generals, the decorated heroes, the dedicated staffers, the campaign advisors, the ex-wife, the employees, the Republican Vice Presidents (plural), etc, etc, all of them. A cast of hundreds who testify, who write, who do interviews in person & on background. Oh I hear ya, Trump calls them “nasty” like some elderly version of Annie Wilkes. -

Btw Jon, I was talking about Axios turning down the story (which I believe Tree on), not the story itself. -

I know, I know. Everyone who’s ever known or worked for Trump, from the lowliest call girls to his employees to the nation’s greatest leaders some of whom he selected himself, come running out of their encounters over and over again flailing their arms warning people, but they’re liars, bookmongers, profiteers, traitors, while the Mark Meadowses & Stephen Millers & Steve Bannons & Charlie Kirks of the world are the *real truth tellers. I understand perfectly well. -

Seems reasonable to me, I wouldn’t be surprised if Axios & other US MSM decided not to run the story. Actually I recall a Maga poster here lauding the UK press, maybe the Guardian, for running US stories that US press won’t run. -

One of Trump’s great innovations is taking negative events & turning it into positive personality themes. Liberals Triggered, the press as Enemies of the People, they’re Trying to Stop The Donald But They Can’t, OMB, TDS, Deep State, Russia Russia Russia, etc. Ten years in it’s playing the hits. -

I didn’t know that. It’s definitely tabloid material, I’m guessing other MSM journalists passed on it as well for its luridness. But I also don’t think its truthiness matters to Trump’s supporters. And I’m sure as General noted this likely isn’t whatever claim Halperin was talking about. Even the Guardian states this is a series of continuing reports on Trump in the same vein. -

I mean I guess I share the derangement with two former GOP vice presidents, a former GOP presidential nominee, a chief of staff, generals, war heroes, cabinet secretaries, press secretaries… quite an elite list of the deranged. -

>>A former model who says she met Donald Trumpthrough the late sexual abuser Jeffrey Epstein<<< Linkage. Before we get to the groping thing (predictable responses boffesidez) let’s just keep in mind there are people in Maga who doubt Trump’s friendship with or really courtship of Epstein. -
