Ha as a country we are basically low life welchers now, lying, going back on our word, our assurances, our contracts. We’re like some habitual bankrupt who shorts his vendors, workers & partners. -

Remember when DHS detained an entire apartment building looking for Tren de Aragua?
SaintsInDome2006 replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
>>Just one “verified” Tren de Aragua member and one U.S. citizen with an active warrant were among the 37, DHS said, without saying how it had verified that gang affiliation. Others taken that day, the agency said, were “illegal aliens.” In other words, while the administration says it is disrupting transnational gang activity, the bulk of those detained seem to have no serious record. In fact, federal data shows that over 70% of detainees who were being held as of last month by Immigration and Customs Enforcement nationally had no criminal convictions.<< -

>> Martínez’s wife, who did not want to be named for fear of immigration authorities, said he's lived in Illinois for 30 years. She acknowledged he’s “made mistakes in the past, but in the 10 years we have been together he had no issues with the law. He’s a good husband, a father to two teenage U.S. citizens, and a hard worker.” << -

>> In tears, Rojas said these immigration operations ostensibly aimed at gangsters are tearing families apart. Her mother came to the U.S. from Mexico in 1995, she said. “She has worked hard. She has paid her taxes. She’s done everything possible to make sure she isn’t a problem here,” the 21-year-old daughter said. “And she has raised me here my entire life.”<< -

Well I was talking about the scenario where it could have happened while Bill Clinton was President, which I’d think we both could agree on. As for your comp about a hypothetical where Bill’s past actions would’ve been dug up when Hillary ran years later, you’re forgetting something. Trump made the payments when President, and in leading up to his taking office. That brings it back to being more like the 1st hypothetical with Bill doing it while in office.

Hold on, In specifically mentioned the Clintons, is that so far fetched? They had an LLC investigated. If they had found Bill using it to make and hide hush money payments it would’ve been curtains for him. I thought that was pretty reasonable.

Well I definitely agree with you that men who try to pay women for sex & who have affairs with porn stars shouldn’t be elevated to positions of influence. Totally agree there. -

Hey here’s a CRAZY idea - let’s ask them who they work for & try to get information on their operations. That way - & hear me out - we might actually damage their ability to traffic drugs. Nutty out the box thinking, huh? -
After speaking with Vladimir Putin, who said it would be a bad idea, The Nation’s Leader Donald Trump has decided to cancel the tomahawks to Ukraine. Also Vova & Donald decided they needed to meet privately again, this time in Hungary.

Trump Administration Authorizes Covert C.I.A. Action in Venezuela >> The Trump administration has secretly authorized the C.I.A. to conduct covert action in Venezuela, according to U.S. officials, stepping up a campaign against Nicolás Maduro, the country’s authoritarian leader. The authorization is the latest step in the Trump administration’s intensifying pressure campaign against Venezuela. For weeks, the U.S. military has been targeting boats off the Venezuelan coast it says are transporting drugs, killing 27 people. American officials have been clear, privately, that the end goal is to drive Mr. Maduro from power. Mr. Trump acknowledged on Wednesday that he had authorized the covert action and said the United States was considering strikes on Venezuelan territory. “We are certainly looking at land now, because we’ve got the sea very well under control,” the president told reporters hours after The New York Times reported the secret authorization. …. The new authority would allow the C.I.A. to carry out lethal operations in Venezuela and conduct a range of operations in the Caribbean. The agency would be able to take covert action against Mr. Maduro or his government either unilaterally or in conjunction with a larger military operation. It is not known whether the C.I.A. is planning any specific operations in Venezuela. But the development comes as the U.S. military is planning its own possible escalation, drawing up options for President Trump to consider, including strikes inside Venezuela. The scale of the military buildup in the regionis substantial: There are currently 10,000 U.S. troops there, most of them at bases in Puerto Rico, but also a contingent of Marines on amphibious assault ships. In all, the Navy has eight surface warships and a submarine in the Caribbean. The new authorities, known in intelligence jargon as a presidential finding, were described by multiple U.S. officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the highly classified document. …<< -
