I'm fine with it. The best course for that is tracking gun sales and transactions digitally and via credit card transactions. - The Fentanyl piece would be handled by tracking Americans who cross the border legally so longer as there is reasonable suspicion / probable cause. Need a lot more manpower for that though, which is part of the basis of the border bill.

I'm Catholic. I think she did the right thing. Personally I think it's a bad idea to go on Fox and explain and exhort that it's a very serious matter and threat to democracy in play and then the next day go yuck it up and slap backs with Trump. I'll add that Al Smith would have been thoroughly disgusted by the display and Trump himself. Basically the whole thing was an afrront to Smith's name and memory.

Yeah, I have to say I still don't get it, op-ed/opinion/pundit shows still shouldn't feature comedians on news programs. But I also think Fox is for people who really don't like politics or journalism. That's not a cut or an insult, it's like people who watch or read TMZ Sports, I don't think those folks are really sports fans.

This isn't complicated. News networks don't have comedians, if a network features comedians they're not a news network. And for a long time now Hannity and Carlson (formerly) have been outright campaign and media advisors to Trump, this is nothing new.

I believe the poster above was alluding to the fact that Trump had repeatedly - 40+ times in roughly 44+ opportunities - picked Swamp Creatures to run his administration. The most important people in his administration after him - Vice President, National Security Advisors, Chiefs of Staff, Generals and the Chief of Joint Chiefs of Staff, Press Secretaries, Cabinet Secretaries, FBI Directors, over and over and over again - nearly every opportunity he got (except I guess Flynn, Miller, his son in law, his daughter, Ratcliffe, Meadows) - he picked Swamp Creatures.

Just on this: IMO the reason is the same so many conservatives & GOP pols who express disgust with Trump even to the point of saying he shouldn’t be president privately yet support him publicly is they believe he’s transactional & that they can get something from his being in power. For Dolan & that crowd it’s about abortion & make no mistake the Church does quite a lot of fundraising on that themselves. I’m a Catholic btw.
