There are a couple places that really should be better - Absinthe House & Pirate Bar. Absinthe has too many tourists & Pirate has removed the stools & the beer sucks (but they do have absinthe, which Absinthe does not).

And this isn’t a liberals only thing. Maga wants the files released too. In fact sainted Charlie Kirk himself called for the files to be released just a week or so before his death.

Greetings. The only reason anyone knows about this stuff is the work of journalists - aka liberals. Julie Brown at the Miami Herald is one, Vicky Ward is another, way before Trump was even mentioned as a candidate. At the time when this was first being investigated by journalists the only possible political casualty was Bill Clinton and then by extension Hillary Clinton. Truth is they could still be nicked by this. It got ramped up again when the Trump1 administration- to their credit - re-arrested Epstein and prosecuted Maxwell. And in the course of all that - to their credit - maga supporters drove for info on Epstein. - When Trump appointed Acosta (who gave Epstein his sweetheart deal) that raised interest. Why was this guy nominated & why was he confirmed? And then of course the Epstein suicide, under Barr’s watch. Then of course it was maga which drove the drumbeat about cabals of wealthy & powerful pedophiles doing Bad Things above the law & without accountability, not without some basis. Then the Trump campaign & their battalions of podcasters & Fox personalities - including Patel & Bongino - made it part of the Trump 24 campaign. And then Bondi’s grandiose promises. And now we’re here.

Fun fact: DA's & federal prosecutors hold investigatory files for years and years. They just hold it and if anyone asks for the materials they get a polite letter saying it's protected per office policy. That's true from Pullyup to Schenectady. - The problem for Bondi and Patel is they hate policy, so they won't say that. - Ok, cheers. Have a good evening.

Oh I agree. His attitude towards gays as Christians and his defense of Israel are two major factors. Israel is the main thing above. Loomer and Fuentes had just gone after him. Just not the motive here though.

The files: There were two investigations: the apx. 2008 investigation by the state of FLA and the Feds. The news reports and court filings at the time described the box loads of materials including electronic stuff being carted away. The negative here is that apparently because of the sweetheart deal that Acosta and Dersh arranged that a lot of it was returned. - The other investigation happened under Trump1 and Barr in NY, totally federal. Involved loads of computer and electronic stuff. They also went to NM and other places where Epstein had homes. Also, the US Virgin Islands conducted an investigation. Thats' three investigations, three pots of data. The format - loads of electronic and media stuff from all three investigations. But we also know there's paper stuff because look at what the Epstein estate just turned over to the Congressional investigation. Theres' also stuff like Epstein's address book - paper - containing multiple contacts. I think he had like not kidding twelve contact numbers for Trump alone, in a paper address book, and that's been published. Bloomberg just published roughly 18,000 emails from one of Epstein's accounts and he had multiple. Why would they still have files - well the Epstein 2nd investigation and Maxwell investigations in NY and USVI were and are or should be supposedly still live. There are also numerous court public records cases and Congressional demands. They can't just legally destroy that stuff. And who knows what they retained or copied from the first investigation. Biden - it's not just Biden, its' all of Bush, Obama, Trump1 and Trump2 - but also, the state of Florida under IIRC two governors, including DeSantis, and BONDI was AG for 8 years there. And shocker she was also named AG for Trump2. Whaddyaknow. But as to why they didn't release: IMO because the DOJ follows rules about not releasing information about people under investigation but not charged. Historically they don't do it. Same goes for the state of Florida. The only administrations that did not follow that rule were Trump1 (sometimes, unofficially) and Trump2. This administration, Trump2 has expressly stated they aren't following that rule. Thats' the whole point of Ed Martin's role, which is just to dig up and release inside investigation info on whoever his leader and Bondi tell him to. And we know all of this because: repeated attempts to unseal the 1st FLA federal court's records in that court, the 2nd Epstein investigation, the Maxwell investigation, lawsuits against Epstein and Maxwell, the suicide investigation, numerous public records requests, depositions of Epstein and Maxwell, and interviews with multiple girls not just Giuffre. I know, too much. I'm headed to the Quarter for a beer, seriously.

I realize 'he was a gay lefty' is now solidly (well apparently) confirmed but just a reminder the ^^^^ far (far) right hate for Kirk was indeed a very real thing and apparently still is. Candace Owen and the anti_israel (cuz yaknow) brigade make their appearance.

Eh, yeah we do. We know it would please Bondi etc to no end, & what’s more is it would really please the leader. Trump would name bridges & buildings after them if they indicted Biden, for anything but man this, he’d do somersaults. The *only reason they wouldn’t investigate this is it’s total bunk. Just like they’re not investigating him for the Ukraine & China Hunter stuff.

It’s a good response, but you’re kind of agreeing with me here. Frankly I don’t feel like diagnosing and splitting Trump’s weird oleo of disturbing statements & behaviors so I can slot them into different threads. When he claims 300 million Americans died from drugs last year, am I supposed to put that in the liar thread, the manipulative authoritarian thread, the thread on his lack of qualifications, or his senility/cognitive decline thread? The medications reference is to the OMB/GSA IG report that came out about the crazy medications & narcotics going through the White House during his administration. The PTSD reference is about him being the victim of an assassination attempt. Just IMO but most people would need years of therapy after going through something like that.
