I think it makes sense for a lot of while collar jobs. You’ve got plenty of those where people sit at their desk just to be there and really don’t have to be present 40hrs per week to get the job done. But what about blue collar and service industry jobs? Theres a bit less rationale there for the change. I suppose it would be nice for those people if they also got an extra day off and you’d just have to hire more employees to make up the shortfall in hours. Could work
