CNN — The University of Alabama at Birmingham health system became the first organization in the state to confirm it is pausing in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment following an Alabama Supreme Court ruling that found frozen embryos are children, the health system said in a statement to AL.com. The system said it was “saddened” for patients interested in the IVF process. “We must evaluate the potential that our patients and our physicians could be prosecuted criminally or face punitive damages for following the standard of care for IVF treatments,” university spokesperson Hannah Echols told AL.com.

It’s funny you guys think Trump actually wants to get rid of illegal immigration. Where do you think he’s going to get cheap labor for his hotels and golf courses, among other uses? And that’s true of many large businesses and in several huge sectors of the economy like agriculture, child care, hospitality etc. I’m not saying do nothing, but the concept that Trump—or really most any politician—actually wants to eradicate illegal immigration is deeply naive.

Most of the Steele dossier was fairly accurate. Sh1t even the pee tape hasn’t been disproven, though of course it is unfair to expect that Trump or his allies could prove a negative. Anyway it’s an interesting historical question. Supposedly the Steele dossier was discredited and the mueller report exonerated Trump, except neither is actually true. But I suppose perception is really all that matters in the end.
