Sounds like something the MAGA crowd should want The bill features some of the most significant border security restrictions Congress has contemplated in years. They include making it more difficult to claim asylum, vastly expanding detention capacity and effectively shutting down the border to new entrants if more than an average of 5,000 migrants per day try to cross over unlawfully in the course of a week, or more than 8,500 attempt to cross in any given day.

Up on appeal right now, that takes a while, then when it comes back down you have to restart the trial proceedings to some extent. The gears grind slowly. They aren’t doing this in the fall when the election is right around the corner so it’s summer or not until 2025 if ever

Huh? I want them to go to trial and I’m sure the prosecution does too. Well at least the federal prosecutor, obviously those Georgia prosecutors are more interested in other things. But Trump is using delay tactics and appeals and it will work. There was never any chance the January 6 trial could come together in time, that’s just the way the system works. The classified documents case could’ve but Trump’s legal team will make sure it doesn’t. I’m not particularly miffed about it either because that’s just the way it goes.

Ahh so that’s the key. If a tv show sucks that’s really all that matters. Now it’s possible it could suck because they were too narrow in their casting or tried to cram too much pandering in. Yes, that can happen. But you see, all I care about is whether it’s good or not. So if it has a diverse cast or an lgbtq teenager or whatever, I really don’t care if it’s still a good show, whereas you’ll throw a hissy tantrum and never even give it a shot
