    This economy is so bad

There were no mistakes, you bunch of Nancies. Our economy nosedived into the sh1tter with COVID. Worldwide pandemics will do that. Even if the government had done nothing people would’ve stayed home. But the government did great stuff instead. They got the vaccines out at unbelievable speeds. Yes that was under Trump. They pumped tons of support into the economy to keep it afloat, yes that started under Trump too. Trump deserves lots of credit, problem is his own stupid ass didn’t want it and tried to turn around and sabotage his own efforts But I digress on Trump. Then in came Biden and he had to keep the money flowing until we were in the clear. But oh, what’s this? Turns out pumping a bunch of money into the economy creates inflation. Yeah no sh1t. So you figure out how to tame it as best you can and get yourself on a glide path towards normalcy. It’s a pretty huge task, really. One I’m not sure anyone has pulled off, really ever. But it seems we did it. There was no great economic crash. There was no huge delayed recession, as everyone thought there would have to be. Inflation was a huge annoyance for a while there and I’d still higher than ideal, but it’s come down slowly and surely just as planned. This has really been quite incredible. We should all be pointing at this and saying “see, even in this era of insane hyper partisanship, we can still do great things! USA! USA!! “ But instead everyone wants to make up a bunch of bullsh1t for political gain. Oh well. I guess that’s the way it goes — but that’s all it is, a bunch of fucking bvllshit

Kinda ghey to bring in politics
  3. Wow, even more great news on the economy!! Thanks Joe Biden Washington, DCCNN — The US economy remained shockingly robust in the fourth quarter to close out a remarkably strong 2023 as consumers and businesses continued to spend, crushing expectations of a recession. Gross domestic product, a measure of all the services and goods and produced, rose at a seasonally and inflation-adjusted annualized rate of 3.3% from October through December, the Commerce Department reported Thursday. That was slower than the 4.9% rate from July through September, when American consumers splashed out on services and goods. Growth in 2023 overall, from January through December of last year, registered at a robust 2.5% rate. But the fourth quarter’s rate trounced the 1.5% that economists were expecting, according to FactSet estimates. The economy’s strength in the final months of 2023 was broad based, driven by consumer spending, business investment, government outlays, exports and improvements in housing conditions.

24 minutes of Democrats denying elections

“Games”? That’s a pretty stupid take when I’m saying you’re right. It’s not good when republicans do it and it’s not good when Dems do it. Now it is pretty asinine to suggest that the president of the United States refusing to acknowledge his loss and directing his supporters to attack the Capitol building and try to hang the vice president is the same as some nobody out of Georgia crying about her gubernatorial loss. So the whataboutism is, as always, stupid. But hey, I’m trying to meet you halfway here and saying, you know what, regardless of degrees and so forth let’s just agree that nobody should be doing this and hold them to that standard going forward. And so you call me a child? You need to check yourself, bud.

Every stance and position Trump told you to take vis-a-vis Russia, Putin, and NATO since 2016

    Nikki Haley in 2024!

She’s definitely hanging around in case he implodes. But I don’t see a third party run, that would only be to ensure that Biden wins, and I don’t see her doing that

24 minutes of Democrats denying elections

I’m glad we all agree that questioning the validity of elections without real solid basis is undemocratic and should not be done. Let’s work to hold everyone to that standard, going forward

    This economy is so bad

That’s because they lie and swindle people into thinking that it’s not about killing the public education system. If they were truthful, like you, it would never be legal.

    This economy is so bad

Well, at least you admit that it is a plan to kill them. I don’t think most people are on board with that and it would run afoul of most states’ laws, probably every state really

    This economy is so bad

False. “School choice” would starve the public school system of resources and benefit the wealthy and upper middle class

    NFC Championship: Lions @ 49ers

McCaffrey vs top run defense. I’d take the points

    AFC Championship: Chiefs @ Ravens

Ravens gonna roll the chiefs. They are a buzz saw this year and KC is weak (relative to their usual position)

More than 800,000 people left California in 2022

No crazier than super red states. I would prefer something more moderate. But man you can’t beat that coastline
  22. When you lie as a matter of course, it does get difficult to remember what is actually true
  23. Same party that says immigrants are “poisoning the blood of our country.” But yeah, they’re the anti-racists
