It’s pretty obvious, isn’t it? Other countries were willing to mostly say and do nothing while Israel bombarded Gaza for six weeks after the attacks. But they’ve killed approximately 13,000 civilians and at this point people aren’t going to sit idly by if Israel picks this back up at the same pace. I think that’s just a fact as far as the international community goes

Of course that probably does unfortunately play some part, but it’s not nearly that simple, and you know it. Theres also the issue of international condemnation and the US’s need to maintain moral clarity on human rights and so forth, which is difficult to do when a government that is essentially its proxy is leveling a densely populated city of two million and killing civilians at an extreme rate in the process.

The concept is that you’re calling them sluts because they’re sexually active women, whereas you would not use the same term for a sexually acting man. Or if you did, like calling a guy a man wh0re or something, that’s really more of a compliment whereas with a women you’re insinuating that she’s damaged or diseased or something.
