American Ideal Salary averages $270K, Gen Z is ratarded
IGotWorms replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
“Ideal” salary is basically infinity. But if we’re using any kind of reasonableness, then yeah Gen Z is wrong. 600k is ridiculous. But Americans as a whole say $270k and if that’s a household income that’s not too far off from what I’d say and what you’ve come up with above. I’d say the 200-220 range is probably reasonable for most locations. -
Wait, I thought there weren't any kids getting sex changes

She sounds completely nuts and that’s a very tragic case. Bad judge and I guess no surprise this is CA. But I guess I don’t understand what the broader point is here? That it should be illegal in CA? Ok, go ahead and get the law passed. I mean, is this supposed to equal the Biden Admin (time left in office ~60 days) forcibly castrating your kids or something? -

lol wow, maybe Gen Z should just start with a focking job? -
Just please don’t do something d0uchey like a bowler hat or fedora, unless you can really, truly pull it off. Seen too many middle aged men embarrass themselves with this. Now every once in a while some guy pulls it off (usually they’re black) and that’s pretty cool, but the hit rate’s gotta be under 10%

Definitely true on the second point. First point I’m not so sure. She had a favorable media outside of Fox News and the podcast bros but they pretty much dominate the media scene now. And Trump was running scared refusing to do another debate (which was smart, but kinda undercuts the idea that Kamala was not willing to get out there) -
Maybe get into boxing or something. See what it’s like when it isn’t a felony for the other guy to fight back

It was such a weird election. Traditionally, if you replaced your candidate a few months before the general election you were probably losing in an historic landslide. On top of that you had all kinds of headwinds with an unpopular incumbent administration, high inflation that left everyone very grump, a global trend of incumbents losing for similar reasons, and a huge anti/establishment/anti “elitist” sentiment that Trump has been successfully tapping into for years. On top of that your candidate is a black woman in a country that’s never had a female president, period, much less a female president of color. So in many ways it’s pretty amazing that they were not thoroughly trounced. But, on the other hand, Trump is a focking awful candidate in his own right. So many red flags and such a tremendously unpalatable piece of sh1t. And he should have paid a huge price for overturning Roe v Wade and January 6 and all that. Just shocking that you could lose to such an unquestionably unsuitable “leader.” And it was a bad loss, no Trump didn’t get 400 electoral votes and he didn’t top 50% of the popular vote, but he did take all the swing states and the Dems lost the Senate and they didn’t get anywhere in the House. It was a trouncing, though a bit of a “shallow” one, if you will. Anyways, Dems definitely gotta adjust their priorities and message. I’d drop the grievance mentality (call it wokeism or identity politics or whatever, it’s all similar) and especially don’t take the bait on tranny stuff. Focus on working class issues and stop telling them they’re doing fine because they obviously don’t feel that way. Also focus on morality because you’ve got a huge focking piece of garbage in the White House stacking his administration with equally disgusting pieces of trash, so that’ll be an easy sell. Don’t scream about every little thing but do point out that, hey, we don’t have to be like this, and there is an alternative -

Props for use of the word prescient. Seems to me tim is pretty tuned into liberal media sources. So it’s not surprising he would’ve heard rumblings. But since he follows mostly liberal sources, he also tends to be slightly misinformed when the Dems are not winning.

They’re still going to do it. You see, it’s just that when the accounting says they’re running even bigger deficits, they’ll just fix the accounting. Problem solved! What counts as a tax cut? That is the question on the minds of many Republicans on Capitol Hill these days as they consider how far — and how fast — they can cut taxes again. The wonky ways of measuring the federal budget are shaping up to be central to the debate. Forcing the issue is the end of many of the tax cuts Republicans passed in 2017. Without any action by Congress next year, taxes would go up for most Americans, as provisions like lower marginal income rates and a larger standard deduction expired. Republicans want to protect their handiwork and extend the tax cuts before they lapse. By conventional budget rules in Washington, doing so would amount to a tax cut — and an expensive one at that. Compared with a scenario where all of the 2017 tax cuts end as scheduled, extending them for 10 years would reduce the revenue the government collected by roughly $4 trillion, according to the Congressional Budget Office. Republicans are struggling to come up with other tax increases or spending cuts to cover that cost. So maybe it is not a surprise that some of them are starting to advance an alternative theory of the case: that continuing existing tax cuts actually costs nothing. Senator Michael D. Crapo, an Idaho Republican who is expected to lead the Senate Finance Committee next year, took to Fox Business this week to make that argument. “If you’re just extending current law, we’re not raising taxes or lowering taxes, that is a $4 trillion deficit. That’s ridiculous,” he said in an interview with Larry Kudlow, who helps advise President-elect Donald J. Trump. Mr. Crapo said later, “We’re going to have to take the bold steps of saying to the American people that we are not going to let $4 trillion of tax hikes happen and that it’s not going to increase the deficit.” -

You are a little crybaby kvnt, jon. It’s true -
Politically it was obviously not as successful as you’d like. Inflation was too high. They needed some to keep us afloat coming out of COVID but they probably did overshoot it. It has been a real problem for middle class folks. They should’ve told the trannies to fock off. Should’ve addressed immigration earlier. Sure, there’s plenty of blame to go around.

Voter fraud God you guys sounds like kvnts still whining about a made up thing even after you won. Jesus what a total lack of character. And I don’t know or give a sh1t who Mayorkas even is. Bur whatever, you win, you get to do your thing. That’s the deal. It’s a bad one for America but it is what they chose. -
How? By pointing out you guys have all the power and now you have to own it? Quit running from that. Embrace it. Use the next 2-4 years to prove us all wrong instead of just desperately flailing about for someone else to preemptively blame

They do it across different jurisdictions all the time. Drugs, human trafficking etc, lots of that implicates many different jurisdictions. But yeah, I guess it would depend on what was discussed. And it certainly could be made to look politically motivated and I’m sure Bondi can come up with some kind of charge there -

Go ahead and prosecute em for whatever bullsh1t you want, I don’t care—they deserve it for being ineffectual losers. But no, I don’t think that is illegal. State and feds coordinate all the time, you should know that
