He’s been a pleasant surprise but let’s not get carried away here. He’s still a QB2 albeit with a nice bump lately
-
I think he is a good but he was supposed to take a leap forward this year that has not yet materialized. End of last year it looked like he was potentially headed towards greatness
-
I’m not trying to throw down or anything, just genuinely curious as I don’t know one single thing about you even though you’ve been here for a long time

PedoGate - Ghislaine Maxwell (Epstein) documents have been unsealed

I agree, and what’s the holdup? There have been a couple sacrificial lambs, like that Lex Wexner creepo at billionaire owner of Victoria’s Secret and that Prince Andrew chimo. But the full list should be released -
The skinny pop cheddar popcorn stuff isn’t horrible. But it’s all relative. Of course it isn’t as good as the stuff with 4x the calories

Bill Belichick is a Facade. Not a good coach!

Pretty good article at ESPN on how the Patriots have gotten here under Belichick: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/38884214/fire-bill-belichick-bench-mac-jones-next-2023-patriots-lost-season Pretty good reminder too of how he’s actually done since Brady left. 2020 - rolled out cam newton’s corpse at the helm of a shell of a team, still had solid year 2021 - rookie QB (who, it turns out, fockin sucks), made playoffs 2022 - disaster of a year on offense but still competitive This year, though, has been atrocious. Personally I think he has to go because he simply cannot adapt as he needs to at this point. -

He’s a child -
What do you do again?

Blue chipper for the Bills. His fantasy utility does remain a question but the Bills will definitely prefer him over Knox
-
Patriots still suck. Belichick in burn it down mode
-
Hmm that’s pretty curious

They already made them. Then you go get them

He got that yellow fever

So you were full of sh1t. Thanks for admitting it

Including the matchup and basic scoring system would be helpful, sped
-
Yeah I know and I agree they wouldn’t really do it. Although you never know. They’ve spent the better part of a decade now attacking norms and institutions and democracy itself, who knows what the end game really is on that
-
Agreed. The product sucks
-
Knox is a JAG. Kincaid should be a blue chipper
-
I think they probably want dumbass MAGA types to think they might do that. It’s classic dog whistle politics, except in Trump’s case it’s an air raid horn

"Blind Side" subject Michael Oher says family scammed him
IGotWorms replied to WatsonRules's topic in The Geek Club
CNN — Sean and Leigh Anne Tuohy say they paid Michael Oher more than $138,000 of proceeds from the blockbuster film and preceding book “The Blind Side,” despite the former NFL player’s claim that the couple never paid him his share of the profits, court documents say. Oher, whose life story was depicted in the Oscar-winning movie, filed a petition in August claiming the Tuohys told him they were going to adopt him, but instead filed a conservatorship that kept millions of dollars from him, including his share of the film proceeds. The Tuohys strongly denied Oher’s claims they were enriching themselves at his expense, saying they have always acted in his best interest. A Tennessee judge terminated the Tuohy’s conservatorship over Oher in September, but several issues in his petition remained unresolved, including a request that the Tuohys provide a sworn account of the money that should have been paid to Oher. The Tuohys filed the financial statement in Shelby County, Tennessee, probate court on Wednesday, laying out a series of 10 payments totaling $138,311.01 made to Oher – and later his son – between 2007 and April of this year. According to the Tuohy’s attorney, Randy Fishman, the couple began putting Oher’s payments in his son’s name after Oher began returning checks to the Tuohys. Fishman did not elaborate on the reason for the allegedly returned checks. -
