I remember the Covid shutdown thing where he was hosting rich people in a wine cave or something? Definitely not good, but that’s the only bad thing I’ve specifically heard about him. Those two aren’t nearly the same. Giants made a horrible investment. Period. Sweat got paid Now if he wanted to play for a contender, or if he was wanting to ensure he was in the best place to get another contract at the end of this one, then maybe he chose poorly.
