Portland is in flux. However, it is but one city in the state and the coast, the Columbia River gorge, and the bend down to sun river areas are all quite beautiful. I don’t like Brand and never have. It’s nothing to do with his supposed politics (I’d only heard vague things as to that anyway), but solely because he’s an obnoxious no-talent hack that has almost single handedly destroyed anything he’s ever been in. And you affirm yet again. There’s no dissonance. I understand what you’re saying, which is that we should consider whether blacks are simply inherently inferior to whites and maybe other races. The issue is, a) that is, by definition, racist (sorry you don’t like the definition, but you fit it to a tee, and b) the whole reason we consider it racist is where would that even lead? What is the point of even engaging in that inquiry? Would you exterminate the race? Go the eugenics route and sterilize?
