Before sentencing DePape to life for the kidnapping conviction, Judge Harry Dorfman rejected defense attorneys’ arguments that he be granted a new state trial for the 2022 attack against Paul Pelosi, who was 82 years old at the time. “It’s my intention that Mr. DePape will never get out of prison, he can never be paroled,” Dorfman said while handing out the punishment. He later said, “I don’t feel sympathy for you. I feel sympathy for the victim in this case, who’s lucky to be alive.”

To me, the question is who has a secret groundswell of support. I think it’s Kamala. I think there are a lot of people out there who don’t want Trump and will show up to make sure it doesn’t happen. I think she takes all the swing states except Arizona and maybe even pulls off a surprise in Iowa. That said, I could very well be wrong as Trump was the one whose support was pretty heavily underestimated in 2016 and 2020. So my guess is Kamala and I wouldn’t say a blowout but I think she wins fairly handedly. Could just as well go the entire opposite direction though.

How was Biden too extreme? Not like he made a push for national healthcare or anything. Most of the criticism I’ve seen of him is that he was weak or not effective enough (which I disagree with, but whatever), not that he was too extreme.
