Hard pass, I don’t think this guy is ever going to pan out. But then who, out of KC, is the question. Skyy Moore was awful last year but he was a rookie. Valdes-Scantling is a jag and just a one note deep threat at that. I guess you gotta go Moore and hope he takes a big step forward. Anybody have an informed belief on whether that will occur?

You may have to be patient on Javonte, but I believe he will pay off. Denver’s arrow is pointing up and a rising tide lifts all boats

And? All that really matters is the period since we invented agriculture. That’s 12,000 years ago at most and the planet has never been hotter since

Poor take on Jones. Zappe isn’t really a threat, the problem is Jones just isn’t very good. Looked good first half of rookie year when McDaniels successfully hid his weaknesses, but he’s been hot garbage since. Like really bad. And no it wasn’t just last year with Matt Patricia as OC, look at his play down the stretch in 2021 as well. He’s just not good and I would not draft him except in very deep leagues or as QB3 in a super flex if you’re desperate

Tennessee offense hurts DHop’s value and now I’m down on Burks too. IMO DHop is a middling WR2 and Burks goes down to WR4

Perine sucks. Pass on that jag. Javonte is a GREAT deal this year. I would gladly spend a 7th or 8th round pick on him and probably even a 6th if I had to
-
He’s got better weapons than last year for sure, but still, he’s been on a steady decline since 2020. I will target him if the price is right but he may well be a QB2 and possibly not even an especially good one

Ravens sign RB Melvin Gordon III to 1-year, $3.1M deal
IGotWorms replied to polecatt's topic in FFToday Board
Yep. Gordon might be a decent stash if you think Dobbins won’t make it through most of the year. But Dobbins remains the potential low-end RB1/high-end RB2 pick. I’m high on him as I think we’ll see one year of what he could be before he rides off in to the sunset -
Could someone get the mange bored hopping again so weepers goes back over there? TIA

I would submit that it is insane to think that it ends in anything other than calamity (no offense)

Lawyers for former President Donald J. Trump were expected to meet on Thursday with officials in the office of the special counsel, Jack Smith, as federal prosecutors edged closer toward bringing an indictment against Mr. Trump in connection with his wide-ranging efforts to overturn the 2020 election, according to three people familiar with the matter. It was not immediately clear what subjects would be discussed at the meeting or if Mr. Smith would take part. But similar gatherings are often used by defense lawyers as a last-ditch effort to argue against charges being filed or to convey their version of events in a criminal investigation. ABC News reported earlier that Mr. Trump’s lawyers had arrived at Mr. Smith’s office in Washington. They were seen driving into an underground garage shortly before 10 a.m.

Weeks of scorching summer heat in North America, Europe, Asia and elsewhere are putting July on track to be Earth’s warmest month on record, the European Union climate monitor said on Thursday, the latest milestone in what is emerging as an extraordinary year for global temperatures. Last month, the planet experienced its hottest June since records began in 1850. July 6 was its hottest day. And the odds are rising that 2023 will end up displacing 2016 as the hottest year. At the moment, the eight warmest years on the books are the past eight. “The extreme weather which has affected many millions of people in July is unfortunately the harsh reality of climate change and a foretaste of the future,” Petteri Taalas, the secretary general of the World Meteorological Organization, said in a statement. “The need to reduce greenhouse-gas emissions is more urgent than ever before.”

Trump campaign ad - was it written by the GC?

What’s the point of highlighting fringe benefits for worldwide devastation? That’d be like having a brochure for Auschwitz touting its positive affect on weight loss

Thanks for that breakdown but it just makes me even more pessimistic. They say 3 billion will be in an unlivable zone due to average daily temperatures by 2070. By 2090 that’s double. And temperatures would still rise from there. The thing about it is, global climate change will speed up and become exponential after we hit a certain “tipping point” that we’ve pretty much already done. Scientists say 2030 but they probably undershot it. Even if it is 2030, we aren’t doing sh1t by then, certainly not on a global scale. Yes I am very deeply pessimistic indeed

Wish I could make one of them U2 shows. Bet they’ll be pretty awesome -
Okay, sorry bud. You’re a cool dude and I don’t mean to be a d1ck. Let’s have a discussion. What’re you thinking, carbon capture? Can that reverse effects?

No tranny discussion option??

Nobody believes you

Jeez he carried Trump’s water for 4 long years. Just goes to show — some folks can never be pleased

Don’t bother. I know you’re the scientific type and you’ve also got a vested interest being in non renewable energy. I’m not interested in the nitty gritty. Sure maybe we can survive by drinking our own piss and growing potatoes out of whale dung, but who would want to? Hell that’s the whole reason Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos are desperate to get to Mars. But even Bezos eventually saw the futility in it and figured he’d live out his days with a fake plastic fock doll

Quit for sure. I decide how I’m going out

Everything. Food supply, fresh water supply, disaster, famine, disease, on and on. I mean are you seriously saying we can completely destroy our own habitat and suffer no significant consequences?
-
It’s happening and it’s widespread, but it’s not caused by man. Ok well maybe it’s happening and widespread and mostly caused by man, but there ain’t sh1t we can do about it

That’s too bad, she was very talented and actually pretty cute back in her day. Was involved in the best rendition of Pink Floyd’s Mother that I have seen to this day: ‘course, she was crazier than a sh1thouse rat
