Her issue is that in some respects she is JV squad. She has improved quite a bit over the last four years (a surprise to me), but still would not be a traditionally “strong” candidate in many ways. But she’s going against a guy that is entirely unfit for office. So being maybe a little shaky in some areas is not the death knell it might typically have been. Be interesting to see how it all shakes out. I can’t believe that there’s even a chance this completely awful con man could even have a shot—it makes me think we’re pretty well focked regardless of the actual outcome, that Americans are this stupid and/or craven—but he most certainly does, and is in fact the favorite right now.
