  1. Do you like phil collins? Been a big genesis fan, ever since the release of their 1980 album, duke. Before that i didnt really understand any of their work, it was too artsy, too intellectual...it was on duke where uh, phil collins presence became more apparent...i think invisible touch is the group's undisputed masterpiece, its an epic meditation on intangibility at the same time it deepens and enriches the meaning of the preceding 3 albums...christy, take off the robe... listen to the brilliant ensemble playing of banks, collins and rutherford you can practically hear every nuonce of every instrument, sabrina...remove your dress, in terms of lyrical craftsmenship and sheer songwriting, this album hits a new peak of professionalism, sabrina why dont you uh, dance a little! take the lyrics to "Land of Confusion", in this song, phil collins adresses the problems of abusive political authority. In Too Deep is the most moving pop song of the 1980's, about monogomy and commitment, the song is extremely uplifting...their lyrics are as positive and affirmative as uh, anything ive heard in rock...christy, get down on your knees so sabrina can see your ass....phil collins solo career, it seems to be more commercial...and therefore more satisfying in a narrower way. especially songs like, in the air tonight and against all odds...sabrina dont just stare at it, eat it! I also think, phil collins works best within the confines of the group than as a solo artist, and i stress the word artist! This is sussudio, great, great song...personal favorite.

  2. Patriots: B

Love the Maye pick of course.

Happy with the o-lineman choices. They’ve got the attitude and measurable to succeed - now it’s up to coaching.

Not sure about the receivers, could be a hit or miss scenario there. I do like their attitudes

I heard the Falcons reasoning was: they had Penix as their #2qb, close to Daniel's at the top. They think they'll be better this year with Cousins so future picks will be later in the first round, not leaving a chance to get a future franchise qb. :dunno:

They think the second best QB in the draft is going to be happy to ride the pine indefinitely?

I think McConkey is going to be really solid.  Unsure on the 2 you mentioned.  AD has skills but is immature.   Franklin I think got overrated.  But who knows.

Mitchell can get open. He’s got those quick twitch moves you gotta have to be elite at the NFL level. I’m very high on him.

Franklin a distant second for me but he’s explosive.

McConkey, I could certainly be wrong on, but I see a guy who may struggle to really shine when he’s not getting several yards of separation on a regular basis, like you won’t in the NFL.

  5. Pat’s should probably go OL at the top of the second. Love Powers-Johnson’s nastiness but OT is definitely the bigger need.

Love Mitchell at WR and Sanders looks like the kind of TE a young QB would love to have.

Of course, maybe you can’t pass on Dejean if he’s there. Personally I wonder if Dejean doesn’t get swallowed up a bit at the next level but really it’s just that secondary is not a need at all for NE. Love Cooper at LB and Newton a real prospect at DT. But they need offense offense offense.

    doesn't their line blow?

No.  They improved throughout the year.  I would consider them to have an average line right now.

I believe they actually have a fairly decent line. Not that the bar is very high for offensive lines right now

That may be the worst pick I have ever seen in my entire life. There have been bad picks that did not turn out but this was the most wasteful ever. ,ZERO need for a qb. They could have got an Offensive tackle there or more firepower at WR and instead picked a QB that was likely to be there in the 2nd? What in the actual fock

Well no, Penix was not going to be there in the second, given that six freaking QBs were taken in the top half of the first.

Now why they did that with cousins, I don’t know. Could be his injury or they view him as a stopgap. Then you wonder why they shoveled so much money at him but hell, the cap is a joke right now. Probably the pats should’ve gone after cousins too rather than being cheap with brisset, because turns out there was nobody to sign even with all that cap space :dunno:

Best pick of the night by the Falcons.

I’m a Penix believer but that was a little high even for me.

But if he ends up a franchise QB everyone will pretend they thought it was a great pick.

It’s ballsy, but possibly in a stupid way

    Cap is fairly meaningless atm.

Pats wanted to drop some coin and couldn’t even find anyone to take all their money.

Plenty of teams still have 20 or 30 million in cap space or more. Nobody to use it on but extensions for their own players

I think we're good with Amon Ra. He's such an alpha that I don't think he knows how to turn it down.

So ghey when a man describes another man as an alpha

Maybe try saying “competitor” instead? 🤔

Has anyone tried to sue the airlines in court over this?  Looks to me like if this is the case, the judge would rule in favor of the plaintiff.

Could be a class action but I assume that’s failed otherwise there’d be no need to regulate. My guess is there’s all kinds of roadblocks like arbitration provision, onerous choice of law, horrible venue, etc
