I'm great, thanks. 4+ years past my surgery, looking good. Stopped immuno treatments over a year ago because there was nothing obvious to treat. Next scan is February, which reminds me I need to schedule it. How about you?

We have one, maybe the same you described. Never run it on max power; on auto sense or whatever the battery lasts forever. We have mostly tile tho, and no big furry dogs shedding all over the place. We had a problem with the battery working at all. At first they shipped us a new one, and that seemed to work for a short while, then same problem. They asked me to bring it into their store (they have a physical one here), they diagnosed it and ended up replacing the entire base that the battery plugs into, all for free under warranty. This was several years ago, it has worked great since.

As a Cards fan, this makes sense if they can get him cheap or for just the ROS. I would disagree with your last paragraph tho. Darnold and Mayfield were top talents when they were drafted; they were mostly just in sucky situations. Jones was a reach where he was drafted.

I am absolutely shocked that cmh turned a current MLB HOF ballot topic into a discussion of his Royals borderline ballot-space-filler catcher.

Oh, I strongly doubt I would succeed. Doesn't mean I wouldn't try!

Twerking is a trans thing? -
Sure! Those recent bikini pics were Honestly, I think KJP is super cute. I'd love a chance to turn her hetero.

I'm torn by her. I think she has a pretty smile, and in those pics I wood. But in other pics it's a no for me dawg. In the end I guess I wood if for other reason than to tell my buddies I banged a former press secretary.

Get over yourself. It's not like she is accused of abuse. 40 year old allegations that someone in their company was an abuser. Don't you have a drag show to take a young child to? Maybe a twerking lesson? -

Seems aight. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linda_McMahon Lots of good business and political experience (except for losing Senate races in Connecticut, but a Republican in Connecticut, probably never had a chance). Trump didn't want an educator from the swamp, McMahon appears to fit the bill. -

Discussion of Concerns for Trump Presidency

To summarize this NBC Leftie article: - Pre-Musk Twitter became a left-wing echo chamber, and they suspended a bunch of right wing accounts for crap reasons - Musk bought Twitter, unsuspended those folks, and encouraged open dialog - Lefties said "oh noes, you can't change our echo chamber! We're taking our ball and leaving!" - The result was a net increase in Rightie posts, which inevitably leads to more such posts being elevated - Musk has published the algorithm they use as open source, but there must be something else dambit! We just can't figure it out! - Musk probably tweaked things to elevate his exposure because he is an egotistical person. Therefore, something else is going on! - Ergo, Musk created a right-wing echo chamber. QED -

Same for me, for much of my career. It amazes me how low salaries are for these positions, yet we expect "good" people to do these jobs -- in this case, the chief prosecutor of the US -- getting paid less than a lawyer writing patents in a 9 to 5 cushy job. Anyone who takes them on, does so with expectation of future grift to make real money. Also, you get what you pay for. In AZ, state reps make less than a Starbucks barista. Then we are surprised when they pass stupid laws. Every time a pay raise is proposed for our reps I vote for it, and every time it fails. People don't understand this concept. -
Can you put my threads on ignore, so that you don't spam them with random Bible quotes which have nothing to do with the topic? TIA$#@!

Appreciate it. I'm not sure watching my team get biotch-slapped by the #1 team in the country would qualify as "the best basketball experience in the world" for me, but if the season starts well for ASU, I'll consider it.

Interesting. What I've read of the "Mormon War" was when the US Army fought Mormons in Utah. But apparently there have been at least three such wars (Mizzou and Illinois as well) according to this link: https://civilwaronthewesternborder.org/timeline/mormon-war#:~:text=The Mormon War%2C otherwise known,March 1857 to July 1858. Anyway, all the more reason to root for ASU. Jihad!!!

Hmm, you are right, kinda. Idaho is slightly above AZ, but Cali is #2: Idaho is #2 in percentage tho, given their lower total population. I thought that because Mesa (Phoenix suburb, 3rd largest city in AZ after Phoenix and Tucson) historically has a very large Mormon population. Gilbert and Chandler are other large cities for LDS as well. I live on the side of town by these suburbs, so my perception is skewed.

ASU hosts BYU this weekend -- I looked at tickets and they were all $200+. Word is that it is the most expensive event ever at Sun Devil Stadium, including past Super Bowls (albeit in the 90s). There are a ton of LDS folks here (second only to Utah I believe) who root for BYU like Catholics root for ND. Amazingly, with two games left in the regular season (also Arizona rivalry match Thanksgiving weekend), ASU controls their own destiny. If they win out, they make the Big 12 championship game. As a side note, I think it would be great if the Big 12 champ game has two former PAC 12 (Colorado being the other), or one and BYU, in it. No traditional Big 12 teams. NFL Cardinals also control their own destiny, although it's much earlier in that season. If you had told me in September that both these things would be true in late November, I'd have said "bartender, I'll have what he's drinking!"

Newbie? I haven't noticed it but I'll pay attention. Back before Newbie went totally TDS psycho, wishing actual death on Trump (I like to think he went to therapy at that point) -- he got suspended multiple times, and like similar characters here, he came back with various aliases, trying to post differently to throw people off the scent. But like those folks today, their true posting style always eventually comes through. -

Take this for what it's worth, and there are certainly several similar people on "my side" -- you are very much a "last word guy." When I see threads extended by one or more pages by two people trying to get the last word in, I don't find that riveting discussion, and just start fapping my scroll wheel. JMO. If that was your point, and not a weirdo-off, then we can leave it at that. Or you can even have the last word! -

I was commenting on the exchange where you called Trump's picks a "collection of weirdos", then ESAC posted a pic of appointees by Biden which looks like the cast from Portlandia, and you called him a total dipshit. We've established back in the Walz/Vance discussion that you fundamentally don't understand what us normies consider "weirdo", so maybe it's just that? -

I read that and the WSJ one linked in it. I could see Musk amplifying his own (and also having himself be the first recommended follow), but the rest of the stuff seems speculatory, not to mention that much was made about Trump and Vance doing a better job on social media. The WSJ experiment points out the following: So, there were more Republican accounts, but Kamala's campaign was #1. Also, 14 is an odd number, why use that? I might speculate that 5 of the next 6 were left-leaning, and didn't help the author make his point. The point I took from it though, is that political posts/accounts from both sides were amplified even if the experimental user indicated no political interest.
