Yeah, Kate was maybe a reach. How about a young Demi Moore? https://www.google.com/search?q=demi+moore+young&sca_esv=0a650f077e31c052&sxsrf=ADLYWIKyZdTKprzGDy2sxVwxX_ti8l-mCg:1728399501574&source=hp&biw=1920&bih=911&ei=jUgFZ6n4IOGikPIPnJOFwQ8&iflsig=AL9hbdgAAAAAZwVWnWZ91xYNY3YYOM35nqO-Loh2hvnz&ved=0ahUKEwjp8sbyhf-IAxVhEUQIHZxJIfgQ4dUDCBA&uact=5&oq=demi+moore+young&gs_lp=EgNpbWciEGRlbWkgbW9vcmUgeW91bmcyCxAAGIAEGLEDGIMBMgUQABiABDIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABDIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAEMgUQABiABDIFEAAYgAQyBRAAGIAESM8dUABYxRhwAHgAkAEAmAFGoAGKCKoBAjE2uAEDyAEA-AEBigILZ3dzLXdpei1pbWeYAhCgAtEIwgIEECMYJ8ICDhAAGIAEGLEDGIMBGIoFwgIIEAAYgAQYsQPCAg0QABiABBixAxiDARgKwgIHEAAYgAQYCpgDAJIHAjE2oAe5WA&sclient=img&udm=2 The point of the study was that "exotic" looks tended to get a wide range of scores -- some loved 'em, some hated 'em. -

Well... Long ago I read an article about a study where guys rated women on a scale of 1-5. They got a fascinating result. The 4s, they found, were classical beauties that everyone thought were attractive. Kate Beckinsale, perhaps. The women with the most 5s, however, also got a lot of (if not the most) 1s. I think of Uma Thurman here. I personally don't find her attractive (although not a 1). But some guys would crawl over broken glass to drink her pee. Anna Taylor-Joy seems like a more recent example. -

Well, 4 is better than 5. It's kinda like golf that way. -

Hilary Clinton calls for clamp down on social media
jerryskids replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
I know right? He includes Covid in his list, one of the most egregious examples of why such platforms should NOT be censored. It's a classic Tim thing to include such a topic in his lists -- "we can all agree on protecting puppies, arresting child molesters, and wide open borders!" -
I've long advocated the basic premise of your post. I cringe whenever I hear "get out the vote." No, please, don't do that. And college kids have no life experience upon which to intelligently vote; we should move the age back to 21. For those who oppose this, it was 21 until 1971 and the 26th amendment which lowered it to 18. It was lowered because we were drafting 18 year old kids into the military out of necessity (since WW2). I heard an interesting pod on this: the age of 21 used to be required for military service. This age dates back, as many things do, to the Roman Empire. In Rome, you could do other adult things (get married, farm land) at 14 IIRC, but you had to be 21 to be in the military. The reason was simple: you needed a full grown man body to carry all of that armor and weaponry. The funny (sad) thing is, 50+ years ago, 18 yr olds were much more mature than today, where they are collectively children who will vote based on TikTok videos and Taylor Swift endorsements.

Same. I almost didn't open this, figuring it was going to be a bunch of troll posts and bites.

Helene Disaster Response: The Regime leaving Red States to die?

Thanks. I figure it had to be some military group; most people probably don't have a Chinook in their garage. -
Kamala's latest word salad on Israel:

The woman sitting next to Kamala has the best expression. She's like, dear lord, why did we invite this person to talk? Can we cut her mic? That cackle is giving me a migraine. -

I saw an ad by Saint Barack over the weekend that said Trump is getting tons of funding from his rich friends, but Kamala needs $5 from people like me. -

Yes, by "it" I meant the destruction and responses. You have confidence in the MSM being unbiased, I don't, and we'll just have to agree to disagree. Ask yourself, is it better that 1. We have real time reporting, most of which is true but a few items are from foreign bots looking to stir up discord, or 2. We get a daily update paragraph from page 6 of NBC's website -

Sorry, but that name difference is weak sauce. Arizona doesn't have "state police" either, it is the "Department of Public Safety (DPS)". People refer to them as State Police all the time. -
Interesting. We watched most of the game and I was looking for him, but didn't see him. Suns 2nd round pick Oso Ighodaro had 12/4/5 on 6 for 8 shooting in 26 minutes. He's from here and we know his mom pretty well (she taught our kids in elementary school). My wife is already a hooge Suns fan; now every game, even preseason, is must-watch TV in our house.

Interesting that he disparages X. This is exactly the type of situation Twitter was envisioned for. Without it, we would know very little of the situation. The MSM would downplay it, because bad news is not good for their incumbent Democrat masters. FEMA and the Feds might not feel the same urgency as they do now. See, this is why you and CNN are leftist hacks. That headline is wishy washy, and implies that, well, Trump SAYS it was about the auto industry, but ya know... Had it been a Harris quote, their headline would have been "Factcheck FALSE: "Bloodbath" comment was about auto industry." -
I agree with you but... ... a guy in IBL picked Breece Hall #1 in one of the drafts (in the other 5 drafts, CMC went first). Would it be better to know CMC is on your bench and start other players, or to keep rolling Hall out there?

Kamala wants to undo the filibuster so that she can up the SCOTUS count and install enough whackjob Leftie "justices" to enact whatever progressive cause du jour arises. Protect democracy!
