You can't google "why is HFCS bad"? I'd have to click through and copy/paste all the links. -

It's less bad for you, for god's sake read the bullet points about inflammation, lack of satiety signals, and metabolism in the liver. For a thread that is supposed to be serious discussion, you don't seem to have even read what I posted. Carry on. -

Ignorance is bliss. Keep giving your kids HFCS, it's the same. -

Trump is a news agency who accused specific individuals of felony offenses?

I haven't tried it outdoors either, looking forward to it. I like the "regular" spider very much and was ready to get it. But once I tried the counterbalance: I went back and forth hitting 3-6 balls with each. Every time I went back to the regular one, it just felt... a little shaky. Since you've tried it, you know how smooth it feels.

United Healthcare CEO shot, killed in midtown NYC

Population about 40M, about 1/9 of ours. Virtually everyone lives along the southern border. People come to America for advanced medical needs, and much care is difficult if not impossible to get. They have a program called Medical Assistance in Dying to help sick people come off of their medical expenses. ETA: Very high taxes, very low military expenses -
It's funny you say this, because I was already going to post that whenever you say "vast majority," I've learned that you have no data and are completely making it up.

On a more serious note: for those espousing universal health care, name a country of comparable population to ours which has a better universal health care system. I thought so. People like to use Norway as an example, let's compare: - Population 5.5M, about 1/70th of ours - Virtually all of the population lives along the ocean. Basically, a series of medical facilities placed along the highway that runs that route covers almost everyone. We are 2 dimensional, requiring a significantly more complex system. - Norway's population is very homogeneous, whereas we have all ethnicities and their associated genetic issues. - Obesity rate in Norway is 25%; here it is 45% - Norway pays more in taxes Bottom line is: it's a helluva lot more difficult than "Norway does it, why can't we?" -

Almost definitely Sarno. Most long-term back pain is. Also, looking at that picture that gave Worms a woody, there is no way he would have a body like that without working out. How debilitating was it? -
What did you ask for Xmas from the Wife/Partner/S.O.

Did you have sex with her twice? -
Also, just posted in the gifts thread that I got this putter: Holy crap it felt amazing. I think Harmon and Clark both used it, or similar, to win their recent majors. I'm super excited to try it on the course.

Ended up getting the Spider S counterbalance 38" shaft: https://www.taylormadegolf.com/Spider-Tour-S-Counter-Balance/N7537348.html?lang=en_US Went to a nearby Golf Galaxy to try putters out, and I was ready to buy one because I had just signed up for 15% off in store or online. In the end I was between the above and a standard 35" Spider red (the newer Spiders weren't particularly different and the red was $100 less). The red was very good, but this counterbalance... it is a few inches longer so you choke down, and there is a weight at the top of the shaft which creates this incredibly smooth pendulum swing. I took both up to the counter to see if the coupon would work... umm, no, it was worthless. Sorry Golf Galaxy, buh bye. Shame, because I want golf super stores to continue to exist, and I prefer to give them my business if price is comparable (also for golf shoes in general, which I would never buy without trying on). But, not this time. I had seen one on eBay for $290, new, no shipping fee. Talked to my wife because I could have gotten the red for around $200, and she said "shut up dummy, you haven't bought a putter in over 20 years, get the one you really want. Might not get here until just after Christmas, but that's OK. -

I was going to propose Yusuf Dikec, the Turkish pistol shooter. Otherwise I think she's a good pick. -
Does MAGA have a problem with teh gheys or no?
jerryskids replied to IGotWorms's topic in The Geek Club
I generally agree with you on the government. I'd rather not legislate absolutes like we've been discussing. But we've created a culture that celebrates transitioning, and we have 150+ for profit gender clinics in the past 15 years. And most girls who object to things like boys in their sport probably say nothing, for fear of becoming pariahs with their classmates and on social media. Until we change that culture, it is the role of government to create legislation to protect people. For teachers, I don't think they should teach anything one way or the other, but they should let parents know if something is going on with their kids. -

We can start by teaching kids that the answer to their problems is probably not to change genders. -

It is that same logic that should protect the few actual females affected by it. The rape victim in the locker room with the naked dude in the shower. The athlete who loses her spot, or her teeth, because of a male competitor. And there are a helluva lot more than 0.1% of kids getting the message that they are the other gender.
