You know that Kamala got >$1B in donations in a fewo weeks, right? To deny that the vast majority of big money is on the Left is laughable. Sorry it took a Trump victory for you to recognize what has been happening for a long time. Also, part of their club? That is the definition of a Leftie pseud like yourself.

It’s January 7th did you take down your tree?

Yeah, I didn't add anything this year, I was too busy and just happy to recreate previous years. Next year I want to add some stuff. It's hard to rally tho, when my neighbors aren't doing it.

    Biggest threat to America?

Where I don't think we've clarified is: we both think each other is completely wrong, but I'm willing to discuss it, whereas you want to suppress discussion. But to keep the discussion going: why don't you think it's worth discussing the potential involvement of Antifa and/or the FBI on 1/6? Please don't say the 1/6 Commission, that was a traveshamockery.

My last house was that size, but we've since downsized to about 2500 sq ft. Regardless, I've always enjoyed setting up the lights myself. They in no way look professional, but I look out every night and morning and think yeah, I did that. I'm on a cul de sac with 8 houses where I'm basically the only person who does lights. The house next door to me keeps their lights up all year -- they change them from white to multi-colored during the Christmas season. The house across the street has one faux tree display out front. Otherwise, nothing. Several of the folks have second houses that they go to during the holidays, which I understand, but it's a bummer that there aren't more lights here. Regarding the OP, the Catholic Christmas season goes through this weekend where we celebrate the baptism of Jesus. I mentioned in another thread that we are heading to Detroit this Saturday for a memorial service, so I'll get down what I can Thursday/Friday, but probably just turn off the power to the lights before we leave and deal with it next week.
  7. I figured the "Trump is a narcissit" would come up. I've said it plenty of times: https://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/search/?&q=narcissist&author=jerryskids&search_and_or=or Most of those are about Trump. Whatabout wut?

    Biggest threat to America?

Sorry, but so much wrong here. I think it can be summarized with "rejected the truthful MSM reporting and chose to believe in pure fabrications." That, to paraphrase @jonmx, is the stuff of bootlickers. I think where you are incorrect is in conflating your opinions with fact. It is absolutely reasonable to speculate on the supposed involvement of Antifa and the FBI in the Jan 6 riot. That doesn't mean it happened, it means it is fair to speculate. The MSM's response is to call people insurrectionists and other dehumanizing labels. Sorry, but I don't find that compelling. The Jan 6 Committee was an embarrassing joke that wouldn't know an objective investigation if it said hello and slapped them in the face. There IS a deep state, the MSM either is complicit or is gaslit by them, and in either case they gaslight and strongarm people into following their message.

    Biggest threat to America?

I don't want to go too far down this sidetrack, but I'll say that IMO they weren't universally shot down. I've described multiple times, as a systems expert, that if your system is not designed to catch fraud, you can't catch fraud. And most of the trump lawsuits were dismissed on standing, not facts. Many of them also were based around recounts, which always struck me as a diving catch attempt. Most likely, Biden won fair and square through a combo of the general public being sick of the 24/7 negative info from the MSM on Trump, and the negative impact of Covid including the intentional delay of the vax release by TDS forces. To fix an election here, you don't need to do widespread cheating, but rather surgical acts in close swing states. I view it as "don't hate the player, hate the game." In 2024, Republicans took steps to minimize a lot of the above system problems, and Trump won quite handily. Is that the sole reason he won? Probably not. But it helped with the final count.
  10. I mean, I guess. But if I was making $200K a year, I wouldn't offer some chick $50K. The whole thing strikes me as Bayless thinking me might have crossed a line (which it appears he did), and trying to buy his way out of it, while getting the sex he wanted, because he seems like a narcissistic ass.

To me you are making the point of the Right. - We should be able to discuss questions about the election and Sleepy Joe's 81M votes without being shut down by the MSM and Big Tech with dehumanizing labels of "election denier$#@!". - Similarly, we should be able to discuss Antifa and FBI participation, and in some cases lack thereof, in the events of 1/6, and how the 1/6 committee was a kangaroo court vs. a pursuit of truth. - I'll add for Covid that we should be able to discuss the idiocy of restricting outdoor activities, and masking babies and parents of babies, and keeping schools closed long past any real concerns for danger to children, so that we could sacrifice those children for a teacher's union who had bought the authorities.

    Maga Media Takeover, Oligarchy now

Good post Community notes are a much better way to drive correct information than the previous model, which was the Feds browbeating sites like Twitter to moderate as they want them to. I'm surprised I need to say this to you. Also, Gutter's OP asserted that Musk turned X into a MAGA echo chamber. Rather, by opening discourse and providing community notes, Lefties like Gutter were butt hurt that they lost their Leftie echo chamber, and many took their ball and went home.

  16. My wife yesterday said that her boss told her she was raised Catholic, but in college tried some other churches including a non-denominational one. She was turned off by it because of their disdain for Catholicism and, frankly, and other organized religion. Not all such churches are cults, but a lot of them are, including @weepaws Small churches need to make money, and they don't have the long history and support of a large, established worldwide organization. So they teach their sheep that theirs is the only path to salvation, and that all other forms of Christianity are bad. Can't have the sheep taking their money elsewhere, can they? Weepaws thinks Jesus would approve of his behavior toward other expressions of Christianity. He doesn't truly understand. He can quote the Bible though, so he's got that going for him.

    Trudeau to resign

Fascinating compare/contrast between costs in Canada vs. here. And Canada is what many aspire to be, politically. We'll just tax the rich to pay for everything, that always works! Love that Polievre guy, I hope for Canada's sake that they vote in his party so that they can name him the PM. At least that's how I think it works i parliamentary systems.

    Biggest threat to America?

Those were my two, and I went with China because it is a more tangible threat. Whoever voted for global warming should have voted for China instead. I heard recently that China creates more air pollution than the US, India, and Russia combined. They are building a new coal plant every day or something crazy like that. The climate alarmists' unwillingness to address China is yet another signal that they don't truly care, much like their unwillingness to invest in nuclear energy. It's a cult built for thought control, not an existential threat. Tim still thinks Biden has super sharp faculties. I rarely spent time at FBG, but the one thing I remember about Tim there was his steadfast belief in the MSM, despite the overwhelming and obvious evidence to the contrary. You are pissing into the wind trying to convince him otherwise.
