I honestly hadn't heard of this when I posted my wife's comment in the other thread.
-
My lot? Wutabout wut? The question was Trump not doing tough interviews. Focus.
-
Are those goalposts heavy?
-
When I mention this topic to my wife, her reaction was nah, I don't think he did anything with a minor girl... ... I think he likes minor boys. I know, I know, there is no evidence. But he is creepy as fock, and gives off a vibe which, as you said, would make me uncomfortable leaving my children in his care.

Are we sticking to 5 words or not?

I don't know about desperate, but definitely a change in strategy. When she was riding the sugar high of being the new, non-Biden candidate, her team's strategy was to keep her isolated, for good reason. The fact that she signed up for this interview implies that her team thinks it is questionable enough to take the risk. I honestly don't know where Baier sits on the Trump spectrum, so I don't know if he'll be out for blood or just trying to look like an objective journalist. My guess is the latter, and that that worked into the Team Kamala calculation.

Guys, let's focus on the fact that Vance is weird! Anyone who watched the debate could see that, right?! For fock's sake, he dressed as a girl for a costume party, how weird is that$#@! Meanwhile, Grandpa not-quite-head Coach deaf DUI 30 trips to China lied about Tiananmen and military service eyes sewed open inappropriate relationship with minor Walz is totally normal.
-
Vance also just did that interview with the Leftie hack ABC "journalist." They've been all over the place for months. The assertion that Harris and Walz are the ones taking the tough interviews is laughable, but expected. Sycophants gonna sycophant.
-
Yeah, that's the same as doing an interview with Bret Baier.

I think you are wrong in presuming that the issue only matters in high-level D1 sports. IMO the issue is not that men will take all of that over. It is that at every level, a man in a woman's sport at a minimum takes a roster spot from a woman, and potentially introduces not only safety issues, but imbalance of abilities which can cause other women to lose competitions, chances at scholarships and/or spots at the next level, etc. It is an entire house of cards with influences in all directions.

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

I explained it quite well in my first post to you on this. I had forgotten how insufferable you are in these discussions; incapable of reading basic sentences, and instead just regurgitating your pseud talking points and claiming the win. That's on me. Tell you what, you win, boyo. TnD is not an issue in Aurora, and America doesn't see it as an example of the bad effects of unfettered illegal immigration. Congrats! -

I literally posted it for you, in red and everything. Also, you clearly didn't read your own link. After discussing all of the crimes committed by the TnD criminals, it ends with this: So they've taken over multiple apartment buildings, or to use GroupSpeak, their influence is "isolated." I'm out, I forgot that Gammas can't read. Keep up the fight! -
Actually, the simple concept is that if you allow this man to compete with women, you've set precedent for future (more capable) men to do the same. You've also introduced a process where somebody has to make some decision of whether or not every trans man "sucks" enough to compete with women. That's both unmanageable, and not exactly making the trans person feel good about themselves, which is the argument by the Left of why they should be allowed to compete with women. I honestly don't know why you bump these yip yip topics of yours.

Nothing is proven. You are being a good pseud Gamma (giving you the benefit of the higher rank here), trying to engage on the nitpick of the definition of "take over." The question is: Is there significant presence and influence of these gangs in these apartments? The answer is an indisputable Yes. Most of America understand this as a problem, and an example of a larger problem, which is why Harris and the DNC have done a 180 on illegal immigration. But keep up the good fight, boyo! Your comrades appreciate it. -
Has he lost his mind?

If you think SNL attacks Biden and/or Harris like they have Trump for the past 8 years, you are Squissy-level blue-pilled. -

Just thought I'd point out that you bolded the wrong part here earlier: I left your bolded, and used red to point out the relevant part. The part Vance biotch-slapped the ABC reporter with. Harris knows it, the DNC knows it, that's why they're flanking hard on being tough on illegal immigration. But, they're leaving pseuds like you, the Gammas and Deltas of their Brave New World, to fight the ground war with the straw man of "they haven't taken over the entire city ARGGGHHHH!" Sad for you, boyo. -
I figured out the defining characteristic that makes someone a lifelong liberal
jerryskids replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
Perhaps distilling it further, it is a basic belief that all humans are fundamentally good, where "good" is defined as the motivations of the liberal. And as such, they believe that being nice to those people is the same as helping them. -

jerryskids replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
Along these lines, I recently said here that a defining characteristic of liberals is a belief that everyone in the world is driven by their same motivations. For example, they believe that Palestinians, given the opportunity (again) for autonomy, will kick out Hamas, develop a thriving democratic society, and live peacefully next to Israel in a two-state solution. If only Israel would leave them alone, those mean oppressors! -
I understand your position; my post (the second part) was in response to Saints and the simplistic belief that Trump is just going to become a dictator. I've explained numerous times how inane that is, so I won't rehash it. Kamala may very well be intelligent. After all, she graduated law school and passed the bar. But she is a terrible communicator, inspires no confidence, and if we are to believe her current positions, has abandoned everything she has historically claimed to care about. Hate Trump all you want, but he tells you what he thinks.

This song came on at our gym earlier this week. I thought two things: (1) I love this song, and (2) I'm having a total mental block on the name. Had to come home and find it on Spotify. Funny that @MikeMattchose it as the first song.

The Harris honeymoon is ending, and people are reminded that she was a terrible candidate before the coup that put her in the nomination. She is trying to be Solomon splitting the baby with her flip flopping positions on fracking, the border, etc., and it ends up she is pleasing no one. HTH I've often pimped the Freakonomics podcast here, and will again. They just posted a two-part series on the president, dictatorship, and how to predict the election. https://freakonomics.com/podcast/has-the-u-s-presidency-become-a-dictatorship-update/ https://freakonomics.com/podcast/how-to-predict-the-presidency/ The host, Stephen Dubner, is definitely NOT a fan of Trump. His pods rarely get into politics tho, and even these were more academic than partisan. The first was a replay/update of one they did in 2016 before Trump was elected. One of the main guests is a legal historian and U of Chicago professor, who talked about how the office of POTUS has amassed a lot more power than the Founders envisioned. He was actually quite critical of Obama and his selective law enforcement or lack thereof. The second one was primarily about betting markets for the election (also very interesting), but Dubner talked to the same professor about the risk of Trump becoming somethin of a dictator. The professor's opinion was... not really a risk. His reasoning is that to be a dictator, you need to be disciplined and organized, which isn't Trump.
