I can kinda see both sides of this. The Left doesn't like the underlying premise that "the whiter, the prettier," so their message is that beauty comes in all colors. The Right is concerned that this is yet another example of the Left saying "truth" is whatever they say it is -- white is brown, boys are girls, Kamala is eloquent. Also, as @IGotWormsjust said, let the white folks have Snow White and make more Encantos, Moanas, Mulans... My girls are grown so I'll never see it. Doesn't much matter to me.

One benefit of his posts IMO is you get insight into what a pure, 24K Leftist thinks. I mean, he honestly thinks Trump is going to be a dictator based on his comments; he has no interest whatsoever to learning the context or surrounding statements regarding day one only -- Trump says he will be a dictator, and he believes them! His almost exclusive source of info is some uber Leftist named Kyle Griffin from MSNBC. He thinks all trans are from birth with not environmental influence. He is the essence of the modern Leftist. Knowledge is power. It's good to know how such people think.

Update! Made a sidecar instead of an old fashioned. I've been in a bit of an old fashioned rut. It's good. I only put in 1/3 of the lemon juice; I don't know how somebody can drink it that sour.

We've got a prime rib cooking as well. Just picked up my daughter from the airport, the one that lives in NY. Haven't seen her since we visited in April. She is unpacking at the moment. Wife is making cookies (Italian pistachio now) and a poppyseed swirl loaf, which is a memory from my Polish childhood traditions. My other daughter helped make the cookies as well as pierogi (also Polish tradition). My son and his girlfriend are with her family today, so we're going to do our traditional Christmas including presents on Saturday. Merry Christmas all! P.S. Decades ago, I was up 10 with like 30 seconds to go in MNF, which was a classic Jets/Dolphins game which ended in the high 40s. I was in Vegas, NYNY to be exact, during our annual sales kickoff meeting. My opponent had the Dolphins TE and kicker. The dolphins drove down 40+ yards, all in passes to the TE (no PPR), and the Dolphin kicker made a 50+ yd FG to win the game, which was worth... 6 pts. When he lined up for the kick, I would have bet my house that he was going to make it. Second worse was this year which actually ended in a tie. I was up 0.2 and had Goff with the Lions locking up the win on MNF. Goff took two knees, each worth -0.1 rushing.

I've been assured by @squistionand @The Real timschochet that all trans folks are that way from birth, and it has nothing to do with having a father that most likely abused him/her, like so many other trans folks with history of abuse and other psychological comorbidities.
