Makes me want to rewatch the original -- I remember liking it, but I don't remember much else.

Reminder that US soccer plays France at noon PDT today (3PM EDT). On USA or stream Peacock.

All you saw was the SOTU? you didnt see the 100s of other examples before and after that which showed the clear decline?
-
Up until the debate, and perhaps even after, you swore that you didn't think Biden had any cognitive decline. Yet now you say that Trump is "obviously" suffering from some sort of age related dementia. Do you ever tire of shilling leftie talking points?
-
It was obvious to anyone with basic observation skills and knowledge of humankind. Not clinically diagnosed? To my knowledge it still isn't. Do you honestly think we've been getting the honest health assessment on this? That he passed all his cognitive tests as recently as this year with flying colors? That a world-renowned Parkinson's expert stopped by the WH 8 times in 8 months to check in on the wait staff and gardeners? Cmon man.

Got to Edinburgh yesterday, going to the British Open next week. Explored Old Town Edinburgh today, fun place. Anything going on back in the states? Slow weekend I bet.

I was out of the country for a while so I apologize if this has been discussed, but... looking at your avatar, did you catch the ghey while I was away? NTTAWWT. -
Outstanding! Brought home two bottles. One was a special Open bottling from Loch Lomond, only 8 yrs in ex-bourbon casks but then finished in an ex-chardonnay cask. Quite yummy despite the relative youth. Came with two etched glasses and a bottle with The Open logo and our last name etched in the back. Surprisingly inexpensive. Loch Lomond distillery was all over the tournament, and wherever they were, they offered tastings. We probably had 5-6 ounces of scotch per day just on free tastings for the 3 days we were there. Second bottle was from Deanston distillery, near Stirling about an hour NW of Edinburgh. Went there on our way back from the tourney, and did a special cask-strength tasting. After touring the cask room we sat down in front of 4 casks, where we learned about each and tasted them. I bought a bottle drawn from #2, aged 13 years in an ex-bourbon cask. It was a little expensive (about $150, although that was the cheapest of the four), but it is a one-off cask that they found in the warehouse, so it is cool that I can have that unique bottle and memory. Plus it was my second favorite of the 4 (but my favorite was aged 30 years and cost $400+). My son got a bottle of 15 year finished in tequila casks; an experiment they did which in our opinions came out quite good, plus tequila has an obvious tie to the southwest US. Side note: we learned that most scotch is aged in ex-bourbon casks for most of their time. The reason is that American bourbon rules require new oak barrels (to keep the coopers, or barrel-makers, in business), so the Scottish, proud of their frugality, buy them used on the cheap. We did do another, traditional tour earlier in the trip -- at Oban, about 3 hours up the western coast. Oban 14 is their flagship, and they are proud that all of their offerings are arguably the smoothest, easiest-drinking scotches on the market. That's all well and good, and it is smooth, but my son and I both like more unique flavor profiles, especially if we are going to drag a bottle across the ocean in our luggage. So in the end we didn't buy anything there. Otherwise we had occasional drams at restaurants throughout the trip. We particularly enjoyed a few offerings from Jura, and one from Ardbeg called Corryvrecken. Both distilleries are in Islay, which is known for its smoky, peaty taste profiles. Interestingly, the price of bottles was higher than that in the US (for those available), because their taxes are much higher locally. Except for duty free, that is. I saw the Ardbeg in the airport for about $95, whereas it is $155 in my local Total Wine. I was || close to buying a bottle, but decided I had enough already.

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

Yep. I've seen/heard it multiple times this morning. Biden can barely function, yet he is keeping the nuke codes for 6 more months. And he put his party in significant peril staying in the election as long as he did. Putting his country before himself. -

Six months is a long time. About 12.5% of his term. Everyone agrees he is severely cognitively impaired (well, except Tim and Squissy), and people are ok with him staying in the job? -
All things considered I prefer an objective score/winner, but I still enjoy the athleticism of sports like gymnastics and diving. I've never gotten into olympic basketball, since I see it all the time in the NBA and college. Although it's funny to see players for the other team ask our players for autographs.

I love the olympics, the more obscure the sport, the better. I'll be streaming that shiot all day every day.

I'm at the Edinburgh airport about to start my trip back. Still quiet over there? Nothing exciting I presume.

Had a great 3 days here, heading back toward Edinburgh tomorrow. Saw all of my guys a bit except English - was up close to both Fatsuyama and Burgermeister after they sprayed the ball far off the fairway. My son bet on Rahm to win so we folloed him a bit near the end. He was with McIntyre (the great Scottish hope) and Fleetwood (his body mannerisms showed an acceptance of defeat on the back 9), so that was a popular group. Saw pretty much all of the big name players. I'll try to post more when I have more time. -

I would argue that you dint have a "great" bank. -
This makes sense. I was going to ask how you could impose a blanket $55 for all situations, that's stupid. A percent limit at least makes mathematical sense.

Weather was fine. We got there around 10:30 local, it was a light drizzle at most. Within an hour it stopped, then misted a bit later. Minimal wind was great. It was cool, sweatshirt and windbreaker Weather, but coming from Phoenix, it was nice. Supposed to be even better tomorrow. -
I think "fell" is to cut down. "Swoop" is maybe a swing of an ax?

Your expert political and lobbying groups are telling you it is unequivocally 100% nature? Hint: I've shown you otherwise multiple times. You choose to ignore it and we have this Groundhog Day discussion again. -
Did he? It's a great quid pro quo. Obviously the deal would apply to future, smaller nodes as they become available.
