Report - Will Biden not seek reelection

Hey @Cdub100, can you change the title of this thread to something like "Will Biden not seek reelection?" I keep wondering if he has actually stepped down. TIA

Season 5 Jesse was pretty much a walking vegetable, so I get the allure to you. I was going to suggest "Cummala"
  4. A - always B - be C - closing! Love that scene, as does anyone who has worked in sales. Interesting factoid: that scene wasn't in the original script, but was added by David Mamet to pay back a favor to Baldwin. https://www.thequota.co/articles/the-truth-about-that-famous-alec-baldwin-scene-from-glengarry-glen-ross
  5. I would definitely let Whitmer give me mouf to mouf, she's MILFy Actually, since I don't breathe through my mouth anymore, I'd tell her I breathe through my cack. Worth a try.

    Immunity ruling

Yeah, because you are the gentle poster of acceptance. I told you that you are an idiot because we already have a thread on this topic, which was obvious if you looked high on the first page. An intelligent person would have apologized, then added his comment to that thread. But you keep posting in this thread. But you don't care about contributing to this place. You've got your cult RSS feed, with no links, and keep adding worthless threads. You are the worst poster at the geek club and it isn't close. If you didn't contribute to the main board, you would have no value here whatsoever.

Serious question: are you special needs? This is being discussed in, I dunno, the immunity thread. I ask because if you are, I don't want to be too harsh, buddy.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

Also, in doing some more reading today, it appears that I was correct in my upstream assessment. The ruling does not say that the POTUS is immune from official acts; it clarifies the definitions of official vs. unofficial, and within official, those which are absolute vs. presumptive. For the presumptive case, there is an additional burden on the prosecution to show that it is not an official act, which is completely reasonable and needed based on the recent lawfare from the DoJ. The Left is not only butt hurt that this delays their prosecutions of Trump, but they also desperately need to flip the narrative from Biden being brain dead. Walla! The message is: Trump will use this to be a dictator and jail his opponents, and SCOTUS is rogue. Also, we need to put Trump in jail and defend our institutions. Soft-minded people are lapping it up.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

I did not pivoting or backpedaling, go back and reread. Here, I'll help you: I stated that the system did not provide the ability to have evidence, which has been my point all along. And you responded like the good programmed simp Leftie you are with RIGGED! WAAAAA!, trying to shut down any attempt to question the security of the election. Now get your shine box.
  15. I'm no expert on the royal family, but my impression is that he is a cuck who followed his wife to abandon the responsibilities of the royal family, but still wants to enjoy the money and notoriety/fame of said family. I don't want to get into a semantic argument about the definition of "turd," so unless you can point out that I'm wrong (entirely possible) I'll leave it at that.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

I see that @WhiteWonderhas picked up the torch in my absence, but I wanted to add a few things. What systems engineering experts am I parroting? Do you hear my arguments from lots of other people? To my knowledge I'm not parroting anyone. You, on the other hand, are following your overlords with "ELECTION DENIER$#@!" When met with anything that challenges your simplistic belief -- we've done paper ballots before, therefore mailing millions of ballots in places which have never done it, to addresses which aren't recently vetted, and adding a bunch of unmonitored drop boxes is exactly the same! -- shows a childlike inability to analyze things. BTW, my daughter who moved to NY last summer? Yeah, she just got called for a federal grand jury... in Phoenix. She changed her address and voter registration 9 months ago, but somehow it didn't make it through to the fed system. Imagine that. Anyway, back to systems... I spent the bulk of my career primarily in the verification side of engineering and engineering sales. A significant amount more effort goes into verifying a complex system or electronic component than into the design of it. And much of the "design" is putting hooks into the design to make it easier/possible to verify. You see, if not done correctly, there are often parts of such components/systems which literally cannot be verified. If you've had any exposure to complex software systems, you know this. As an example, let's take the changes for 2020 election. How complex was it to print ballots for the people in the system, mail them to the addresses, and put up drop boxes? Not very. How complex would it be to verify that the people in that system were still at those addresses, still alive, etc.? Much more difficult. Some states, AZ included, have an absentee ballot system which has been in place for a long time (I take advantage of it). So I am not questioning the ability to have such a system, but rather stating that adding a heretofore new, unverified process in a bunch of areas increases the risk of fraud. And to say such a system is the "most secure election ever" is categorically, undeniably wrong. But hey, let's use your CER method (I've never heard that acronym BTW): Claim: The 2020 election process increased the risk for fraud. Evidence: See above. Reasoning: They didn't have time to verify the new processes. I'll end by going full circle to the ELECTION DENIER$#@! shtick. I have never stated that the election was stolen. Regarding the voting, I've only stated variations of the above. And I bring it up when there are claims of "most bestest election ever!" That being said, I have stated that I do think Big Tech worked with the Feds to suppress pro-Trump / anti-Biden materials like the laptop, for instance. That's more influence than cheating, though. Whether you realize it or not, you've been programmed to insta-shut down any argument like mine in this thread with a shout of ELECTION DENIER$#@! Which makes it hard to have an intelligent conversation about it.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

This may be the most idiotic, Slingblade-level post I've ever seen from you here. So congrats I guess. It manages to capture your utter inability to understand a single word I said, and yet come off as the Leftie pseud that you are.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

This is my exactly my point: they system did not provide the ability to have evidence. Has nothing to do with being "stunningly unprepared." Again, I'm not saying it happened. That being said: ... Entirely predictable conclusion from you, counselor.

I don't know who you are, but I could tell that you were || close to calling me an "election denier." Good job controlling yourself, simp. Don't hold back your genius; instead, please respond to my specific comments about how the system was designed to be the most secure ever.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

Sending your blueprint should help swimmingly for 2020. I'm not saying we need to continue to challenge 2020. I'm just saying I laugh at people who say... what you just said. "Various arguments" were "shot down" because the system didn't provide a mechanism to challenge them. It was the design of the system.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

Hey @The Real timschochet, can we get a title change on this thread? The president is not immune for "official acts," there is a presumption of immunity for "official acts," and the prosecution has the burden of proof to contest that. Basically, the American way. TIA.

Supreme Court rules President is immune for “official acts”

On this point, I've been wanting to say, not necessarily to you specifically but in general, since I have some time now: I have some systems engineering experience, and there is a saying in that field: a system does what it's designed to do. It's kinda like software, which does exactly what you tell it to do... except that often, what you tell it to do (program it) is not what you intended. Hence bugs. It's not a perfect analogy, but my 2020 analogy was that the "system" was designed to enable a lot of fraud which was undetectable. Numerous states shotgunned paper ballots to registered voters in a manner they had never done before, nor vetted, nor tested. And states provided numerous unmonitored drop boxes to receive them. Whenever I hear about challenges about recounts being upheld, I want to club a baby seal or two. The question was never about counting ballots IMO, it was about garbage in, garbage out. Challenges to voting machines, counts, etc. were just diving catches. This is not to say that it absolutely happened, because as I just described, the system was not designed to answer that question. But as a systems engineer, when I hear people say "most secure election ever!", I laugh, because that's statistically impossible. And when the MSM comes up with a label like "election denier!," parroted by the Left to brow beat those who dare oppose the party line... well, I suspect their motivation.

    Marvin Harrison Jr.

Cards homer here. Two things lead me to think that MHJ will NOT be a top-10 WR. One, he is the 1B receiver IMO; McBride is 1A Two, the Cards have made it clear that they are going to pound the ball this year. Last year they were #2 in YPC: https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/offense/rushing/2023/reg/all HC Gannon wants to pound more, and they drafted a steamroller TE in the 3rd (Tip Reiman) who basically said he lives to pancake people. Plus an OG in the 3rd. The question being discussed locally is how good Murray can be taking snaps under center. This is not to say that the running game can't open up the passing game, but the Cards are not building to be the "greatest show on... sod that rolls into the stadium." I still like MHJ, and think he will be a very good if not great WR in his career. I may take a shot at him in my deep keeper $$$ league. But not in the 2nd round.
