Hey, can we delcare Oct. 20th "No Tims" Day
jerryskids replied to Meglamaniac's topic in The Geek Club
Cool. I thought you were closer to NYC, but great that you are away from that rat race. My wife might retire in a few years, and we'll probably look into a place near the city for a summer, to be by our daughter. I like it's proximity to I-84, which gives easy access to Wilkes Barre and Boston, my two old haunts. Would like more lakes tho. -

Last weekend we spent 3 days in New Paltz in the Catskills/Hudson River Valley area, on the tail end of visiting our daughter in NYC. Hit up a winery, two distilleries, and a cider mill (Brooklyn Cider; my wife joined a club and our first shipment is on the way). Did an awesome hike in the Minnewaska State Park. https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/new-york/gertrudes-nose-trail It was fairly challenging but had miles of views along a cliffs edge. On a related note, I wouldn't recommend it for people who fear heights. Also walked over and back on the Hudson River pedestrian bridge and had some delicious meals. Fall colors weren't in full display but there was enough to please us desert rats. All told, a great time. -
My MIT brain wonders what any of these shotgun blasts have to do with the MSM period. But if we are playing this weird game... did the MSM ever weaponize the IRS against conservative organizations?

Your preconceived notion has nothing to do with my point that you asked a poor, biased question of AI. And all Mr. Utah did was ask a better, less biased question of AI. He didn't go out of his way to do anything. Your last sentence comes from your "full stop" mentality and is laughable. It is why so many folks here don't take you seriously. -

Doh! I've never seen that movie; barely heard of it in fact. I should have googled it though. -
This is hilarious. The Dems have basically written the news copy for the MSM for the past 30+ years, but now it's political because the Reps are doing it some?

I just realized I tagged the wrong "jonnyutah." There are two of you? Is that a thing, being Jonnyutah? -

You got a different message because you asked AI for "good" only. So that's what it gave you. @JohnnyUtahgave a better prompt; he asked for good or bad. You basically asked AI to corroborate your preconceived notion. HTH -
Has anyone watched this? It's a documentary about the making of John Wick, how it almost wasn't made, and how it became a huge franchise. It's been out since May, and on a few platforms. Ima watch it unless people say it sucked. Probably even if they do. ETA: a little NSFW for a few fock bombs at the beginning and end

"No Kings" Day 2.0. Revised estimate 5.5 million, with an upper bound of 8.7 million.
jerryskids replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
I think that is on days that end in "Y". -
Great job ignoring the meat of my post. Here, I'll copy and paste it for you. Perhaps rote re-reading will help your comprehension: All true. I suspect you are slowly starting to comprehend this, but will never admit it. Here is as close as you'll get. As I said, again, it was exactly the context. You jumped into a multi-page thread with lots of good discussion and posted "you sed tranniez is existential crisis! " Like I also said, I lost too many brain cells back then trying to explain that I was discussing the social aspect, not the people, which was clear in all my words. You either get it or you don't, I'm done with this, OG last word guy.

How do you differentiate soup vs. stew? My wife used to make an awesome chicken cheddar chowder on the regular; in my mind it is more of a stew because of a large amount of chicken and veggies (and cheese) vs. liquid. Or, is "stew" when you cook the meat in the liquid? Regardless, I told her about this thread, and she is going to reprise her chowder as it gets cooler.

I'm just telling you what a luxury real estate company is saying is influencing behavior. But perhaps you know better.
-
In another thread I posted some earlier bullet points from a luxury real estate agent firm in NY that I get emails from. Here is their latest thoughts on Mamdani: Summary: Mamdani would chase away some of the prime movers of NYC.

Link to an anti-Israel post you've discredited? Link to a pro-Israel post you've accepted?
-
Nope, I didn't even click through the link. I'm pointing out that if such a show hated Israel and Jews, you would trust it implicitly. I thought that was clear, but if not, here you go.
-
My exact words that you quoted show the context, all of which was in that thread, and I never said "trannies is an existential crisis," so you flat out lied about that. Admit it, you jumped into that thread having not digested the conversation, you said a bunch of ignorant stuff, and inexplicably you brought up your woeful ignorance again. I'm sorry for pointing out your idiocy, but you are fundamentally incapable of processing the distinction I pointed out, both in this thread and back when you were ignorant the first time. Have a good evening.

If you want Moderate Tim to believe your source, simply tell him that they hate Israel and Jews in general.

The wife made a soup yesterday with a red kuri squash that was quite tasty. That being said, I'd probably put french onion seafood bisque/NE clam chowder (yeah I combined them, close enough, sue me) cream of mushroom tomato (w/grilled cheese) on my Mount Rushmore.

Ipso facto? Don't you sound smart! There is a difference between the following things: 1. social contagion -- the celebration and encouragement of behaviors like invading women's safe spaces such as locker rooms, sports, prisons. Also, the encouragement of confused young people, many of whom are gay, all of whom have waves of confusing hormones coursing through them, to identify as trans. 2. a person BEING trans A person can be trans and not invade women's spaces. A person can be trans without our society encouraging them to identify as such. The fact that I need to (repeatedly) point out this fundamental difference used to surprise me, but I've come to realize that you just aren't very smart. Quid erat demonstrandum, and get your shine box.

Israel Gaza thread- is the peace agreement still in effect?
jerryskids replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Egypt, Pakistan, Turkey, and Indonesia support the Trump peace plan. And Israel. Hamas and Moderate Tim, not so much. Bernie Sanders and Chris Van Hollen are silent as well. One might conclude that a peace deal brokered by Trump and Israel is less important to some people than their hatred for Trump and/or Israel. -
You know what, never mind. Much like that thread where we were having a good discussion, I was enjoying the discussion with @Fnordwhen you let out your diarrhea blast. It's like you are allergic to intelligent conversation. Also I forgot you are one of our many Leftie "last word" guys who will keep responding. You win, I said trannies is an existential crisis, it's a quote and everything! Enjoy the W, maybe sharpen your slingblade as a reward.
-
I'll add "not understanding how to quote" to your list of inabilities.
-
Close, if you said "the trans social contagion movement." Certainly better than the 80 IQ summary of "trannies is an existential crisis." I lost a lot of brain cells trying to teach you basic reading comprehension in that thread, I'm not inclined to do it again.

LOL, they didn't renew what was always intended to be a temporary stopgap because of the once in a century pandemic. Intelligent people understand this. You follow your MSM marching orders. Unfortunately, most normies get their news from the MSM, so some of them might fall for the same pablum you did. But in the end, the American people will see through this.
