    Hey Rusty!

I don't think Frank M is coming back; I had a PM exchange with him when he left the most recent time. I also don't think he'd be a silverback that Rusty would crow about; that strikes me as a Sanctuary person. It would be great to have Mung back, but as a career military person that I don't recall being particularly political, again I don't see why Rusty would care. Rusty has too many tells and little self control to sustain a secret alias IMO. Honestly, he doesn't seem interested in it. Gutter is better, with alia like Psychic Observer.

    Hey Rusty!

It occurred to me after posting that that I didn't clarify it very well, since "someone who thinks he is saying something very insightful or clever, when he isn't" also applies to Rusty. But I do feel that the styles are different, and his response to me tacitly confirms he's the guy IMO.

    Hey OldMaid !

    Martinez? Great pitcher.

    Hey Rusty!

Eh, style is too different. Rabbit's posts strike me as someone who thinks he is saying something very insightful or clever, when he isn't. That fits the persona of the silverback Rusty so eagerly told us about.

    Hey Rusty!

I asked @Rabbit Rangeif he was the guy; from his answer I think that's a yes. Like I said in my post to him, he's not living up to the hype.
  6. I was at the gym. Tough workout: 4 x 8-minute AMRAPs, and I teamed up with some in-shape guys, so I felt compelled to push myself extra hard. To your question, this sounds like a typical TimHauck nit-fest where you yip yip dog on some detail. So I'll pass on getting involved.

    STEM vs STEAM

Good posts. Yes, we were required to take 8 humanities classes, or basically 1 per semester. I was fortunate that I got credit for two or three of them for college classes I took in HS. I focused on music, since I did music performance in HS (trumpet). Basic piano, composition, one other. I also placed out of English. Before freshman year you could take a test to place out of English. Basically, write an essay on a topic. Intro paragraph, three body paragraphs, conclusion paragraph, walla! In recent years the Humanities, Arts, and Social Science department at MIT has become a shiot show, but I'll skip those details for now.

What have they gotten to know about her?

Fair enough. I have certainly stated the bolded multiple times here. It's so simps like @Pimpadeaux can call him a convicted felon%$#@! Anyway, it seems like there should be mechanisms to compel judges to recuse themselves before going through all of this. But perhaps you are correct and it just needs to run its course.

It boggles my mind that in the United States of America, Merchan can continue to remain on this case. I guess we're using the Brazil judiciary playbook.

I think it's possible for multiple things to be true at once. 1. She is of questionable competence, has no charisma, and when off-script, spews word salad that sounds like a 5th grader giving a book report on a book she didn't read. 2. She has socialistic tendencies, based on her entire history to date. To think otherwise is fantasy. 3. Independent of the above, it is a smart strategy to keep her as an unknown, so that as you point out, she can seem like whatever voters want her to be. Given the above, it's even smarter. 4. As @jonmx pointed out, she has a complicit lap-dog MSM smoothing the way for her.

I'd like my joy sprinkled with some actual policy details.

Well, 50 years would include Carter and Reagan. Clinton was pretty centrist and worked well with Newt. Economy seemed pretty great under Trump until Covid. I'd need to see how you define "better" and "faster," and how it correlates to higher taxes. Also, what taxes: corporate, income, sales?

    What's up with the hurricanes?

It's wrong because it was posted on X? You could prove him wrong by posting your link showing that man-made global warming has been indisputably proven. Waiting for you to make some Eeyore comment to throw the gun yet again.

Sorry but her strategy is to have no actual policies. Happy happy joy joy!

Sorry, but "price control fear mongering" should be the default IMO. Nothing you said remotely convinces me to object to the above statement.

    Thank you Jesus

You don't understand the meaning of the word liar, liar, and seem to think if you say the word liar enough, you will lie yourself through life, liar. Your post makes no sense as usual liar
  19. I have very few FF assets in this game, which probably sucks, as they should both be good offenses. Butker in IBL, and Ravens DEF in one of my money leagues. I tried to get other players, mostly Chiefs (Pacheco and Worthy), but they were sniped ahead of me.

    Thank you Jesus

I'm very confident that you don't know what "liar" means. I'd ask you to explain it in the above word salad, but I know you can't do it. I also don't know for certain that any given Christian player doesn't give such thanks. What I know, is that in general, they don't do so in public. It's faux Christianity bible thumping, like surfer cults in Nevada. Also, good to know you think the following is from Satan: "You thank Jesus for dying so that you might live, and for providing such inspiration to do your best in the face of fear and adversity, like He did." Thanks Amen

Well, let's parse this. - Forgiving student loans to allow people who can't pay off student loans, to get larger mortgages on houses they can't pay off, does not seem like a path to success. I presume you were around during the last mortgage crisis? - Amnesty to illegal aliens is not about fairness, although some position it as such. It is about, as we've discussed 43215 times, that you can't use past (mostly legal) immigration statistics from (mostly) first world European, Nigerian, and Chinese countries to conclude that illegal aliens from third world countries are a net positive. - I'm not saying you disagree, but taxing the rich never, ever works. As I've said her a similar 43215 number of times, they have more, smarter, and more financially motivated accountants on staff to make sure they don't. The onus for paying for these boondoggles always falls back on the middle class.

I haven't followed this on a national scale: does the Senate projection include Ruben Gallego beating Kerry Lake in AZ? Because Lake is an abject failure who will never win anything, but if the Republicans still manage to keep the Senate overall, that is reassuring.

A wealth tax would impact three major classes of people: - Folks like Warren Buffett, with a shiot-ton of investments with unrealized gains. They would have to sell off a ton of holdings to pay such a tax. - Folks who started successful companies, or were very early in such companies, which went public. They would have to sell off a significant amount of holdings to pay this tax. - Folks with very successful private companies, who might need to sell such companies to pay this tax. Do you think any of these are a net positive for the country? None of the above is taking anything away from the rest of people. If your objection is the typical Leftie "it just isn't fair!", then at least admit it.

Sorry, but "price control fear mongering" should be the default IMO. What you linked regarding states laws against price gouging during emergencies is NOT what she is proposing. The onus is on her to provide details to assuage such concerns.

Apparently not in enough detail. I scanned it and saw the objections to the subjective analyses he had provided. He certainly seems not lacking in confidence.
