Awesome, thanks! I haven't gotten ESPN+ yet (I'm || close) but can watch all those others.

Holy shiot that was my alt pick!
-
He's going to grab my sneaky Alt pick and win the whole thing.
-
Maybe change the title to show it's edjr's pick?
-
Give edjr a pick now? That's what we did last time.

You are mixing up the Geek Club romances. Sawilson was with Big Pete, and GettnHuge was with Nikki. I have no idea if either are still together tho. @SUXBNMEmight know, or @OldMaid since she was BFFs with Nikki once.

Who here still supports the violins in Chicago?
jerryskids replied to cyclone24's topic in The Geek Club
There are several good resins for these folks to build the violins. -
I know that feeling. I picked Clark in the 3rd after he bombed for me a few weeks ago. Admittedly I was out doing something at the time so didn't over analyze it, but I had to swallow my bile picking a top-5 ranked Fedex Cup guy and defending champ because he has sucked the past two tourneys.

This is the uncomfortable, difficult conversation that nobody wants to have, and why I get called "subhuman."
-
Young has been chalk for a while; I thought about him on both my last picks. He'll probably win now.
-
Just giving you shiot. You are usually quick to pick, but I presume you are busy this week.

Also that is really cool. If I played violin I'd look into buying one of those, presuming they are for sale. -

I tried to come up with a pun incorporating "stradivarius," but I've got nothing, so I'll bow out. -
Edjr du jour is really slowing down this draft.

I take it you don't think his re-election campaign is happy to get Hunter out of the way? -
@edjrrecently mentioned MA as having a higher min wage for servers. Here is a good link, looks like lots of states have higher mins. The federal min is $2.13. The higher mins are called "tipped minimum wages" though and can include a max of $5.12 in tips against that wage (so practically, subtract it from the number, maybe?). https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/finance/tipped-minimum-wage That all being said, I'd be surprised if any states would go through the process of REDUCING minimum wage. That would be a PR disaster.

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

That's an interesting list of "lies." Sniffs bait, moves on... -

I didn't say that. But since you went there, I'll remind you that Biden and Team Biden are two somewhat different things. Biden personally is probably not thrilled with the verdict, but his team very well might be. -

Yeah, that's pretty much how they characterize Trump. -
Yeah, he's 3rd overall in LIV and came in 12th at the PGA. I'll take a hot hand in the last round.
-
I was toying with DJ for this pick, if AD didn't take him. Need a LIV guy: Dean Burgermester Mesterburger @edjr

Team Biden is probably popping champagne corks over this. Getting Hunter out of the news for a while is a boon for them. And the guilty verdict hanging in the air gives an appearance of propriety for the DoJ. -
Hunter Biden convicted on three federal gun charges

Agreed. Let's move this discussion to the real thread instead of @cmh6476's "look at meeeee" thread. -
Fair enough. In 1967 during/after the war, Jordan took in 300K Palestinians. Also I think in general you are somewhat conflating where Palestinians have always lived vs. countries accepting new ones. Anyway, Egypt wants nothing to do with them. https://apnews.com/article/palestinian-jordan-egypt-israel-refugee-502c06d004767d4b64848d878b66bd3d Lebanon does not treat Palestinians well: https://www.hrw.org/legacy/campaigns/israel/return/arab-rtr.htm I'm not finding much on refugee acceptance since the Hamas era. Egypt apparently took in 81 severely injured Palestinians the past November.

I'm not sure how they get paid in different states if they also share in the tip pool. I would be surprised if they get "regular" minimum wage plus part of the tips. I do know that both my daughters started as hostesses in HS to make extra money and moved to waitressing when given the opportunity because it paid more. They were Denny's and similar, not high-end restaurants.
