The MSM is creating your #3 by enabling her to avoid questions, and creating the illusion that she is the amalgamation of all of the great orators of our time. If she veers one foot from the teleprompter she sucks, bad. That's why she isn't doing interviews or press conferences. You've proven an utter inability to evaluate people (Biden), or evaluate the bias of the MSM (too many instances to count), so I know this post is wasted on you. Someday maybe I'll learn.

Agreed on both. I'm probably in the minority of being one who read the books first; we were lucky to discover them early. Some scenes, like this one, were done really well in the books. I think Oberyn's fight with the Mountain was another one. Speaking of the books vs. TV, I'm not sure how much it came out on the screen, but Gregor was IMO the best character in the books. I know Tyrion would be a popular choice, but in the end he was basically a good guy. Gregor was the perfect Martin character -- so good, yet so bad.

I sometimes shoot hoops at a park near my house, and a school bus drops off HS kids in the afternoon. I still see kids walking through the park with masks. Always girls. It's definitely a lack of confidence in their looks. Except for that rare kid that lives with posty's relatives.

To clarify, when I say "outside," I don't mean in a grocery store, or coming in our out of a store. I presume that those people, like you, were sick and being courteous. I go to Mayo Clinic more often than I'd like, and lots of people are masked up there. Heck, many of my appointments require me to walk through the chemo waiting room (seems like a poor design, now that I think of it). Those poor people are immuno compromised, so I don't blame them even if they are just being cautious. I'm talking about the person walking down the street, alone, masked. Sorry, I haven't seen him.

The problem with your analysis is that you say "there is some on the left, there is some on the right, it's the same!" But it isn't. "Plenty of media" on the right is Fox, maybe the NY Post, then far right sites. And I showed long ago that CNN is as left as Fox is right, Colbert's audience knows it, you don't yet though. Similar with the other "major" networks. You see, there is this large swath of people in the middle that don't seek out far right or far left media. They think that watching a "major" network is centrist. They've been trained, like you, to equate Fox with MSNBC. But CBS? ABC? NBC? Centrist! NYT, WaPo? Centrist! Thing is, they aren't, not even close. So, regular John and Jane Doe checking in on news saw a month ago how Trump's proposal to not tax tips will cause a huge tax reduction. If they tune in this week, they see how a bold proposal by Saint Kamala will reduce taxes for hardworking service industry people. They won't hear how Harris was the deciding vote on the Inflation Increase Act, which specifically targeted service people to collect tip taxes. HTH
