It's kinda funny that the response from the Left that the MSM machine is in their pocket, is to say "wutabout Fox$#@!" Like, one network evens out ABC, CBS, NBC, associated affiliates, NYT, LAT, WaPo, AP, tons more. I mean seriously, you seem like a smart guy. Do you think Harris suddenly became the best of Obama, Clinton, and Reagan? Her team won't even let her talk to anyone off teleprompter.

Tim Walz left National Guard battalion ‘hanging,’ ‘slithered out the door’ before Iraq deployment
jerryskids replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
I've admitted to struggling, good buddy. I've outlined the 3-pronged attack that Harris, Biden, and the complicit MSM are doing. I don't really see what the Right can do about it, so I'm left to biotching about our lack of a Fourth Estate, and listening to you folks tell me how Harris suddenly became a montage of the best of every politician in the past 50 years. -
The words I posted are a transcript from the video you didn't watch. Regardless, feel free to post examples of a Fox News reporter asking Team Trump back in 2020 if they should censor Biden interviews.

Tim Walz left National Guard battalion ‘hanging,’ ‘slithered out the door’ before Iraq deployment
jerryskids replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
If you listen to the entire thing, you hear him describe how he received pathetic PTSD support when he returned from the field (I presume that is what the "Horse Whisperer" comment meant), and how he observed the discrimination against such soldiers. To me there is a clear implication that he was in a war zone, based on not only this but the other comments that have surfaced. I think that posting such statements helps with the totality of his message. That being said, I don't think we are going to agree on this. -
Well, the title of this thread is "Media Bias," so the issue I'm pointing out here is WaPo's bias. Democracy Dies in Darkness.

Tim Walz left National Guard battalion ‘hanging,’ ‘slithered out the door’ before Iraq deployment
jerryskids replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
At the very beginning he mentions being "OEF". An OEF veteran is a veteran who served in Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF), a military campaign that began in Afghanistan in October 2001 as part of the Global War on Terror. The war's goal was to establish stable governments in Afghanistan and Iraq and to end terrorism in both countries. OEF veterans may have been exposed to environmental hazards during their service, such as chromium, CARC paint, depleted uranium, and heat and cold injuries. These exposures may lead to long-term health issues. -
It was before the interview, so it was preemptive. To her credit, KJP didn't quite bite. The last paragraph below seems to be saying "we can't really do anything, but good on you for bringing it to the attention of the people!"

Another example of Walz "misspeaking" about his service. Anyone could make this mistake, right? -
I'm having a hard time laughing about a WaPo reporter suggesting that the White House censor its political opponent.
-
WaPo reporter asks KJP if the White House should censor Trump's interview with Musk, because muh misinformation. I honestly think the Left thinks 1984 was a how-to manual. https://www.foxnews.com/media/wapo-reporter-suggests-white-house-censor-misinformation-trump-musk-interview-press-briefing

Even Colbert's audience knows that CNN is a bunch of biased hacks.

Why have most people taken down their BLM signs?
jerryskids replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Except, there wasn't an issue. I've posted the research paper, led by a black professor, which showed there is no difference in police shootings between blacks and whites. Unfortunately, the "party of science" doesn't like science which conflicts with their narrative. The purpose of said narrative is to keep black voters in their fold. -

This. Also, Palestinian terrorists. Black people are pretty far down the intersectional scale these days. -
Kamala Harris promises to go tough on border security
jerryskids replied to HellToupee's topic in The Geek Club
Careful, I found this post offensive. I may put you on ignore. I'm not responding to the "man made climate change" pablum. Otherwise, I understand that some people are leaders, some are followers, and some are just biding their time until their incompetency inevitably shines thru. Harris is the third, but the Dems have a good plan with the help of the complicit MSM to hide her incompetence from the public until she is elected. -

I don't think Tim understands how things work in the real world. He has worked for his family's business his entire life. I don't know squissy's back story but I can't believe it includes a leadership role. In the real world, if your boss asks you to take the lead on something, you take the lead. You don't do nothing and say, well, I didn't really have power. You grab the reins. -
Focus Seafoam. Alaska. If you don't have a comment on this topic, post in one of the other threads you've started,
-
This thread is about Alaska excursions, you focking imbecile. I have the ability to isolate political vs. non-political threads. You don't. Please delete your account, or at the very least, stop being an idiot in this thread.
-
You are seriously a blithering idiot. Please go to one of the many threads you started over the weekend and say more stupid shiot in that thread. I'm trying to discuss Alaska cruise excursions. TIA!

We're trying to have an adult conversation here. Never go full retard.

That's... interesting. Heading out for a Geek Meat (Bier, RHR, maybe Bunny?) so I'll read the entire thing tomorrow.

***Fantasy Geek Ball League 2024*** Is Clocaine the team to beat?

Oh good, a draft with Cloaca! Just kidding, buddy. -
Update$#@! Flying out Friday, spending some time in Vancouver until cruising out on Sunday. It's kinda funny that we are flying to a foreign country to cruise in our own country. Anyway, we have two excursions planned: 1. White Pass Railroad in Skagway as discussed. All 13 of us are going. 2. Wife and I signed up for a helicopter ride to Mendenhall Glacier (Juneau) where we land, then learn about and ride dogsleds. My wife's grandfather went to Antarctica with Admiral Byrd and ran the dogsleds (there is a much longer, more interesting story about this which I'll omit for now). So this just seemed like an awesome, bucket-list kind of event (not cheap), but with family significance. We can hike other places. First stop, Icy Strait, we're in charge of watching my MIL, so might not make it off the ship. It doesn't seem like there is a lot there, although my wife's side of the family is doing a whale-watching excursion. Hopefully we'll get off the ship and hike around a little. Ketchikan looks like some good hikes, we might do some there. We haven't negotiated who is watching my MIL that day, tho. Thanks again for the info, I'm getting excited!

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)
jerryskids replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I am frustrated, in fact I meant to say as much but went off posting other stuff. It's a winning strategy, which is enabled by our lack of a functioning media. Which brings us to your responses. 1. No, he isn't. He's on a beach in Delaware this week. I heard his calendar has two scheduled calls... for the entire week. He isn't running anything. He is still in place, and will be until the election, because that is the plan as I laid out. 2. Your media post has a lot of "futures". A lot of "will"s. Until she "does", I'm right and you're wrong, because she has been the candidate for 3+ weeks and has answered zero questions and provided zero platform. In fact, she just said that their plan is to SCHEDULE an interview by the end of August. That's another 3 weeks, for the math impaired. To schedule one. The plan is to get into early voting without her saying anything. 3. I did say that. I'm not so sure now. The strategy would work (almost) as well against Haley or DeSantis.
